Excellent lunch tasting menu with helpful, unobtrusive service.

The staff is exceptional at making you feel welcome. Attention to detail was visible in every dish. I ordered the full 7 course menu and wine pairing, wow, just wow.

Amazing food. Amazing service. It was bit bright and there’s no background music, so not much of an atmosphere. It feels like a gallery. But all is forgotten once you taste the dishes and the presentation is also beautiful 10/10

We booked for a last-minute special night out in Paris and the service was incredible. They called to ask more details about our dietary restrictions. The food itself was so beautifully plated came out at the exact right timing for the night to carry on seamlessly for hours we did the wine pairing, which made it that much more special as well. The restaurant did a good job to accommodate our allergies to seafood and one vegetarian at the table. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a Michelin experience in Paris.

What a memorable dinner! From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, we were treated with too service! We opted for the 6 course menu and wow, everything was absolutely delicious and well crafted. Even the wine went perfectly with every course! For the main course, we had pigeon, which was a first for me and it was very tasty. If you are looking for a Michelin starred restaurant that is not overly prices providing some of the best French inspired foods and service, this is the restaurant!

Charmy waiters and super great food

I am used to going to Tokyo frequently and admiring the French food with Japanese influences produced by Japanese chefs who have trained in France. Now i have eaten French food with Japanese influences produced by a Frenchman in Paris. 素晴らしい. Magnifique. But even better: the superb wine pairing suggestions from the sommelier.

La Scène Thélème is now one of our favorite restaurants in Paris. The atmosphere is "white table cloth", but still casual: long benches along the wall with pillows and casual chairs. The space is nicely laid out with a few tables in the front, a fairly private room in the middle, and more tables in the back, almost in an "S" shape. The food is terrific, with good wine and good wine pairings, and they accommodate various dietary restrictions. We both had the 7 course menu. I enjoyed the menu as it was and my wife had a modified pescatarian menu that was lactose-free. The food is fresh and inventive. The service is attentive, but not overbearing as in some other restaurants. We will definitely return!

Food is ok not exactly breaking any barriers for the price. Poor service, after having to give all dietary information before arrival, it was never noted and also 3 waiters came to take the exact same order, unorganised.

The wine pairing was not as good as expected. There was one white wine that smelled like gas and its taste was bland. The sommelier told us that not all the customer would like this wine, meanwhile he didn't propose any alternative just in case we don't enjoy it. And the last "wine" was actually a beer with funny flavor. Not recommended. Food was just OK. They rushed you to your next dish instead of trying to adapt to your pace.

II had a very disappointing experience at La Scène Thélème, and I feel it’s important to share what happened – especially for non-French visitors. During my lunch, no wine menu was shown. The waiter simply asked if I wanted wine, without any mention of price, quantity, or options. I assumed it was a house wine or part of the menu. At the end, I was shocked to find €50 added to the bill just for wine I never knowingly ordered at that price. What upset me most is the strong feeling that I was treated this way because I’m a foreigner. It seemed like the staff assumed I was rich, didn’t need price details, and would just accept whatever was brought to the table. This kind of stereotyping and lack of transparency is not acceptable in any restaurant – and especially not at a Michelin-starred one. I’ve dined at many high-end restaurants in France and have never experienced such a lack of respect or clarity. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously.

We decided to try a Michelin starred restaurant with our family while visiting Paris, and this was a great choice. Food, service, atmosphere were all excellent. Would definitely recommend, and would definitely visit again.

I went on Saturday with my husband so just the 7 course meal was available. Each course was a master piece. They called earlier to confirm the reservation and check for any food allergies/restrictions. They reconfirmed when we got there. The waiters and waitresses were highly professional and attentive to us and every course. The food was excellent. The best desert I ever had. Everyone at this establishment earns their Michelin star ratings. They had a place for our coats and baggage if needed. They went into detail on every wine that was paired for each course and the course itself. The whole evening was enchanting like beauty and the beast “be our guest.”

The sommelier looked after us throughout the evening with the wine pairing revealing some interesting and inspiring selections. The food on the whole was well executed but perhaps lacked real creativity in a few courses and some small, in my opinion, preparation missteps. When one is spending more then e200 a person, these little things draw your attention and thus the overall rating being what it is.
