6/10Lovely location. Food was OK, but for the price points, expected better. Service was not wonderful...and staff did not seem very interested in helping me...no offer for more water, never asked if all was alright, etc.

8.5/10We had quite some disappointing restaurant experiences in Napoli. Yes, there ara lausy cooks in this town. However Scialuppa was different. Every dish we had was excellent and we had very nice meal that evening. Service was a little uninspired at the beginning, however as time went by they were very nice at the end.

2/10A terrible experience. Although we had reservations, waiter seemed bothered we were there. Seated us a small corner table. Restaurant empty but then seated another couple next to us. Poor service…did not come by to check on food or wine or ask if we needed or wanted anything. Food had no flavor. We were still finishing our wine before leaving and they started moving another table next to ours to make it a table for four. Terrible experience!

10/10We had a fantastic time at La Scialuppa during our honeymoon trip. Salvatore and his team made us feel SO at home and welcome! There is NO doubt that we will go back there, the next time we are in Napoli!! Grazie mille!

8/10Nice location , well set for dinner. Nice ambiance Our food arrived quiet fast with a wrong order,, we ordered lobster spagetti, was ok not more, a bit chewi Carpaccio fish was ok, melanzana small dish came at very last,, my oyster (7€) was tiny and the mozarella wasnt nice at all, too stringy, dry inside, didnt like the texture, sorry Wine was great!

10/10This restaurant was a great find. The food was very tasty and prepared beautifully and served promptly. The service was excellent , with the staff very attentive but not intrucive. Given that the restaurant is situated in a district that is likely to have foreign visitors, it would have been helpful to have menus available that included English translations below the Italian listing. There was a “QR code” available to download at each table that offered the menu in English and French but using this app was difficult at times. This minor inconvenience did not detract from the wonderful experience we had.

6/10This was our first time. While plenty of locals were there this restaurant still seemed touristy. Service was ok, the food included a hair and spaghetti was a little more al dente than at any other Italian restaurant in Naples and Rome. Really liked the pasta with lobster and the gelato for dessert. Thanks to the location, prices were considerably higher than in other parts of Naples. Based on the experience, we probably wouldn’t return.

7/10We ended up in the backyard, so sea view is not guaranteed. Service was slow and not very attentive. Like many other places in Italy, italians prefer talking to italians, and we felt overlooked. Food was good. Wine recommendation was good.

8/10The food was great and also the atmosphere. They also were flexible and changed the time of our reservation last minute to accommodate our plans. Too bad that the waiters were not very friendly, probably because we were "obviously tourists" (they didn't seem to be treating other locals like us). They had also agreed to put a candle on my boyfriend's dessert as a surprise for his birthday, which they forgot. Though I guess this was more of a favour...

10/10We visited on a Saturday evening as they opened. We had booked in advance (advisable) so had a table overlooking the small marina.. The waiters were attentive, service was great and the food was delicious. Thoroughly recommend!

4.5/10Wait staff was rude and inattentive. Few vegetable choices. Little wine by the glass is offered - none on the wine list. Ordered the mixed grilled fish. The swordfish was good but the shrimp was dry and the squid inedible. Desserts were few and disappointing - although the tiramisu was fine. Doesn’t deserve its reputation. .

6.5/10The food was okay, relatively standard for Naples sea front but slightly overpriced. This is worth it though, in return for the fantastic marina view and atmosphere. The service, however, is bad. The waiters are brusque, and we ended up with the wrong dishes being served.

10/10My husband and myself had a wonderful dinner at La Scialuppa. we ordered Seafood soup and octopus salad for appetizers. TERRIFIC! a bottle of the regions white wine. Risotto w/ seafood and the mixed grill for main meal again terrific! dessert was chocolate mousse and the regions cake. all yummy w/ limoncello!!! The service was excellent even the waiter brought us another shot of limoncello after dinner. We ate outside in their covered tent w/ heaters and a guitarist played. The tent was filled w/ guests and it was truly a wonderful evening. Food was fabulous and we had a short walk to our hotel.

4.5/10This is the only restaurant we tried without a recommendation. I had caprese salad. The mozarella was poor quality, the tomatoes flavourless which is quite an achievement in Italy, and the basil was black around the edges. The pizza was a diavola and the salami was of poor quality. The base was very soft and unpalatable and there was far too much cheese. We complained and they offered a free limoncello...which they normally do in Italian restaurants anyway. They charged us full price. It is quite popular with tourists and in a good position, so if you do not care about what you are eating, it is fine to visit.
