9.5/10The decor of the Maghreb is unique but not over the top. Our only disappointment was that there were so few other diners enjoying the great food and service. My tajine was excellent and the Moroccan wine was very good. The staff was welcoming, and the service was perfect.

6.5/10We are not experts on Moroccan or any North African cuisine, but we found the food to be bland and uninspired. The calamari were frozen and reheated. The Algerian wine was very good. Service was friendly and professional. Place was just OK.

10/10What a great meal - I had the Couscous de la Chef, and it was enough for two people. It was delicious; it included three types of meat - chicken, spicy sausage and meatballs. There was a terrine of vegetables in a wonderful light broth. Plus raisins, a hot mixture and chickpeas rounded out the offering. I look forward to returning to try the Tajine options. The waiter was attentive and friendly. When ordering I asked him if it would be too much food to also have a Starter and he responded that the Couscous would be plenty of food.

10/10We live in England and first went to La Soummam 26 years ago on Valentine's Day 1998.. We have just returned, from the UK, for our silver wedding anniversary. It was a perfect night with the restaurant just as we remembered. The restaurant is lovely, the food is wonderful and the welcome friendly.. Great prices for fabulous food and we thoroughly recommend the Cous Cous Royale. Anyone coming here will have an excellent meal in lovely surroundings.

10/10I've been coming to La Soummam for several years now and have never been disappointed. The food is very good, service is friendly yet professional and everyone I have brought here has been delighted. Last night we requested the only open window table and were told unfortunately that table had been reserved. Just after placing our order we were pleasantly surprised when our charming server told us that he had held the table for over 30 minutes and if we still wanted that table we could have it. We had delicious lamb tagines with olives and preserved lemons as well as a small carafe of wine at the perfect table. I always try to return to Soumman whenever I am in Paris and highly recommend it as a comfortable and very pleasant place to have delicious Moroccan cuisine.

9.5/10Great meal in a relaxed and atmospheric setting. The food was very well done and we felt very welcomed. It seemed far away in setting and quality from the many touristy places nearby.

8/10We had a lovely dinner at this restaurant. We wanted cous cous and it did not disappoint. We got a nice window table and service was very good. My only complaint as with most cous cous dinners is that the vegetables are very over cooked. There is a good ambience at this nicely decorated place. You are greeted with a bottle of water and a bowl of olives. Service is attentive without being rushed. We were the only tourist in the place. Really enjoyed our meal. Recommend

10/10This restaurant was very pleasant with excellent service by the waiter and great Moroccan Tajin food. Its orange desert and Algerian wine were likewise very enjoyable.

8.5/10A good option near the river. Very pleasant staff. Have had better morrocan food however. Good if in a rush. Couscous good. Tagline less so. Brick a l'oeuf a fine starter more than soupe a l'ognion.
