Lovely restaurant in the Old Town area of Lyon but just far enough off the main area to not be touristy, I think i was the only non french person in there. The service is relaxed and casual and i was made to feel very welcome. The Quenelle de Brochet was really really good. Quirky decor with the upside down wine bottles. Price wise, very reasonable and seems a few Euros cheaper than the places in the main area.

The waiter was amazing, came at good times. The food was above and beyond. Our first time trying Lyonnaise dishes, and it was a wonderful experience for the senses.

the waiter was very very nice, we had quenelle and a steak with fries. both came with included sides of vegetables, everything was delicious. the bouchon was really pretty. very clean bathrooms too! not too expensive, being a bouchon, but the water was 7.90€ (1L). would recommend if you wish to eat some good lyonnaise food.

Where we come from, we have restaurants we refer to as "mom and pop" places. They are non commercial establishments locally owned, where the food served can best be described as home cooking . This gem of a restaurant fits that description. The food is magnificent. The dining room feels like someone's home. Do not miss this fine establishment.

We were there for New Year’s Eve dinner and the food was cold, it took 45 minutes just to have water and the POS to pay by card was broken and we were not informed beforehand. We had to walk all the way to an ATM at 23:35 to take out some money to pay for an awful dinner. They didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience nor made a discount. Terrible experience
