3.5/10Price too high for the portions on offer. Mediterranean cuisine is synonymous with generosity. We're talking about rustic cuisine, not gastro cuisine. It's not right that it should be so small. The waitress should be more detailed about the dishes on offer and less speedy when taking orders. Advice: take the time to listen to the customer to properly consider the order. Last point: the breaded salmon balls, please! Make an effort next time and get me salmon as indicated on the menu.
La Tapa Canaria • Owner
Dear customer, Thank you for your feedback. At La Tapa Canaria, we always strive to ensure that every customer enjoys their experience, so I was surprised to read your review. First, I’d like to address the language barrier. As you only spoke French, I did my very best to explain the dishes in French. While I always aim to provide as much detail as possible, I also have to attend to other guests, which means I cannot spend an extended amount of time at one table. Regarding the portions and style of service, I would like to clarify that we serve Spanish tapas, which may differ from what some customers expect. Tapas are small, shareable plates, and I understand that this might have caused some confusion. In the end, you ordered our paella as your main dish, which you and your partner finished completely, and you both expressed your satisfaction with it at the time. Additionally, we take great care in assuring that our dishes meet the expectations set out on the menu. Warm regards, Ellen en Mario

7/10It is quite expensive for what you get. The canary potatoes were like Belgian fries. Nothing special. The dessert was excellent. The service is also OK.
