Food was fantastic! Loved everything especially the callos!!! Great wine recommendation by waitress (maybe sommelier). Our waiter was very friendly as well. However I had to pour wine couple of times by myself, not expected in a Michelin Star restaurant. I have been greeted by Eric Ripert in New York, Dominic Crenn in San Francisco, and in this Madrid trip chatted with chef Ramon Freixa, unexpectedly La Tasqueria chef came out greeted table from our left and right but skipped our table. I gave him the benefit of doubt upon exiting the restaurant, he seems didn’t bother to say anything… alas

I love the staff, Martha and Pablo were great. Martha did such an excellent choice of wines for us. I loved it. This year we missed Javi in the restaurant but his staff represented him well. I preferred Memoria menu.

This restaurant is a reason we came back to Madrid. The food is out of this world and the service was amazing. Martha made a wine pairing for us that I will not forget. She was spectacular. All the staff was great. We took a menu. Don't miss this restaurant.

La Tasquería is a wonderful and unique restaurant if you have an adventurous palate and are an ethical omnivore. I had the good fortune of being seated at one of the few seats at a counter with a view of the kitchen. Javi Estévez was at the helm and he treats his staff with respect and calm. He also interacted with the customers in a way few chefs do. The food was outstanding. Who knew all those bits and parts that get thrown away can be so tasty? I had the Menu Memoria with the added suggestion of the taco with shrimp and pork cheek. The addition was an excellent suggestion. The service was excellent with a knowledge and friendly staff. A special mention to the wine sommelier who patiently discussed each wine, many of which were new to me. Put aside your preconceptions of offal and enjoy the experience here.

This was nothing short of worst quality of food for the amount of money charged. Monotonous dishes, most in similar sauces, overloaded with collagen and starch, some overly salty. Very uninspiring and poorly managed.

we had the set menu, and few of us requested the chef for more fish and vegetable based menu. We were pleasantly surprised by off-menu items which were delicately cooked!! this is super highly recommended restaurant!! we would definitely be back on our next trip to this lovely restaurant. The staff was super lovely / amazing service!! the wine we ordered was impeccably paired with the food!!

The atmosphere was pleasant, wine selection decent, and the food was nicely presented. But the menu was very heavy on the meat and the meat dishes were fat-heavy.

A restaurant like no other. All of plates , including the cabeza (head) de cochinillo were artistically created and presented. The food is wildly inventive and delicious if you are adventurous.

+5I tried their Menú Degustación L for 65 EUR, everything was really delicious. The staff was really friendly and helpful. I especially like their Taco of carrilleras with shrimp and Callos.
