5/10The staff spend no time at your table to explain the menu or the offerings and if you are not quick enough to order they walk away and you will not see another waiter for over 30 minutes. They expect you to be able to order in seconds on arrival. The older male server needs some training on how to deal with paying clients (although he didn’t serve our table we noticed his disregard for clients).

2/10The worst experience we had in the city of Rome. We made a reservation and when we arrived there was no table available. The waiter was rude, we waited 30 minutes standing. In the end, when we went to pay, they didn't want to accept card payments.

8.5/10In the (very) old days, the name of the restaurant - "Taverna" - could have referred to a dimly lit, smoky and perhaps even seedy place to eat and drink badly. By far, nothing of this applies to this place! Rather think of a "trattoria", a rustic furnished place with a traditional local menu. Nothing wrong with it. Especially, if - as it is the case here - the dishes are simply delicious because made of good quality ingredients, well prepared and presented without fancy frills. With their very friendly, attentive and helpful service and fair prices (especially with a 20% discount) the place is a clear recommendation. Will certainly return.

10/10Typical Italian restaurant and the best we've tried in Rome! It's not near the touristic areas, it was full of locals and we enjoyed that a lot. For starters, we had "Filetto di Baccala" and "Mozzarella di Bufala & Prosciutto Crudo". So good! Fresh mozzarella, and that codfish so tasty and well fried at the moment. We were in heaven after eating the starters. For main courses, we ate "Tonnarelli Zi Franco" and "Straccetti con Funghi Porcini". Amazing! Everything was so fresh. To finish, we shared a pannacotta with the strawberry gravy. Light dessert but delicious.

10/10Service was friendly and wonderful and food terrific. We each had an appetizer, a glass of wine, bottle of water to share and our own pizzas. Total bill was 52,50E. We sat outside and it was lovely. They do a pretty good business, many families on the inside, people picking up takeaway orders, couples and singles outside. Dog friendly, she brought out water for one of the dogs in their own doggie bowl. It's on a busy street but we hardly noticed. Highly recommend, we will be back to try the pastas.

10/10This tavern was a very welcome and wonderful experience. Booked last minute for lunch on a Friday. Wonderful attentive service. Amazing carbonara, to die for. Also had the tripa and a beautiful glass of white wine. Highly recommend

6/10Booked this place with The Fork and the service was bad from the start, some other guest were leaving before even ordering. I also spoke Italian with them. Food was great though and also the place itself was nice. However, after paying with the app and leaving the restaurant, they called me to ask if I payed my bill. I told them I already payed, and that I already confirmed this with the waitress at the restaurant. I had to repeatedly tell them I payed over the phone which was very uncomfortable. Finally they said okay and hung up. (How could they even think I leave without paying after reserving the table with my name, email and phone number..) This already caused a lot of stress and bad feeling for the rest of the evening. An hour later (23.30 on a Sunday) they called me again. I felt too bad to even pick up this time, they gave me anxiety and a bad aftertaste on my last night with my friends. Horrible..

6.5/10This time was disappointing! They forgot to bring one of the drinks, pizza was served late, one canned artichoke and few olives was priced €10.. after I complained I paid €5, still too much! Not good.
