6/10staff were nice and attentive… food was a little slow. the pasta was great but the cuts of meat were basically still breathing and nearly broke my jaw to chew each piece. The meat was tasteless and not worth the nearly broken jaw after finishing my plate. I ordered an apple pie and got a jam tart. The tart was good so I can’t complain. The parking situation wasn’t the greatest. My biggest take away would be to get the pasta and antipasti but don’t try the cuts of meat unless your getting the fiorentina steak. Nice ambience and setting though.

Good evening, Davide. Thanks for the compliments, but as you'll understand, I completely disagree with your statements about the meat, and if you read the nearly 2,000 other customer reviews, I don't think you'll find any comments like yours. Our meat is carefully selected; all 2-3 year-old females are raised free-range. Only six months before slaughter, they are placed in a stable to tenderize the meat. The aging process lasts three weeks, and my supplier comes from a family of butchers with over 150 years of experience. Perhaps you didn't fully understand, during my explanation, that this was Chianina meat, our quintessential breed, a cow with significant muscle mass and which can only be cooked rare. So our meat was as it should be, perhaps not to your taste, but rating it with a 6 doesn't seem fair, at least not fair, because it's a matter of your personal taste and not our mistake. Moreover, you took advantage of the super 50% discount promotion and spent €16 each to... Saluti. Andrea

10/10Food was amazing and they were able to accommodate 14 same day by reservation via the fork app. The app was very helpful as we did not have to try and call to reserve as we did not speak Italian. The restaurant confirmed via text as well.

9.5/10The ambiance was wonderful, the food excellent and the story of how they prepare the food, make the wine and olive oil, the garlic they grow, the whole evening was terrific. I would highly recommend making a reservation (a must) and enjoying yourselves.

10/10Amazing evening. Stumbled on this restaurant because we were tired of the same-old-same-old in the tourist areas in Montepulciano and went google searching and the Taverna came up (beneficially the restaurant was only 1–yes 1 minute down the road, without the parking issues in the city center). Food was exceptional and Andrea and his staff were friendly and helpful. The highlight of our Montepulciano dining experience!

First, we were very well greeted by Andrea, the owner who explained the menu with a complimentary tasting of his wine. The atmosphere was absolutely the best for a romantic and relaxing dinner with soft music and decor to take your breath away. The food perfectly prepared, flavorful and cook to perfection. And, at a very reasonable priced menu. A must to experience if you are in Montepulciano. Thank you for the best meal so far during our trip here in Italy. 10/10I had an amazing time at this agriturismo! The service was super friendly, and the food was incredible – all homemade with fresh ingredients straight from the farm. Every dish was packed with flavor, from the pasta to the cheeses and meats. The cozy, rustic vibe made it even more special. Highly recommend this place if you want delicious food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere! I'll definitely be back!

10/10Delicious food. Portion sizes just right. Charming staff. If you go there on a Saturday evening, I’d recommend booking a table for 8.30pm or 9pm - most of the other customers arrived then (very quiet until 8.30pm).
