10/10Lovely service in a cost room with old beams on the ceiling and an old fireplace, not functioning. I had one of the best filets of steak I have had in a really long time and my husband’s suckling pork was Devine. We also had some salad and an eggplant parmigiana that were lovely. The wine was reasonably priced and really good, recommended by the waiter. Loved it would happily go back.

10/10Tagliatelle with Bolognese sauce was very good, as with the creamy tiramisu ( dessert of the day). Overall the food was delicious and prices very reasonable. Service was attentive . I wanted a green salad and they were able to make it although there was none on the menu. Many restaurants were closed on Monday and luckily we found this place. definitely a good choice .

10/10This was a great place to eat in the centre of Bologna with lots of ambience and most importantly good food. Our waiter was friendly and coped well with the fact that we didn’t speak any Italian and needed considerable help ordering from the menu offered. What we got was certainly typical of the area and tasted great. Would definitely recommend.

10/10The staff were amazing, helped with the menu and we asked for 3 prime to share equally divided them was so nice. Food was brilliant recommend the tortellini thanks again.

10/10The restaurant is so very charming. The staff was great and spoke English. The food was exceptional. It was was well presented and tasted delicious. The wine was exceptional. I had traditional tagietelle ragu bolognese and it was perfection. My husband had a meatloaf type dish that he loved. If you want a delicious dinner with wonderful service and attention to detail, this is the place!

10/10This restaurant is a great find. The space is beautiful. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and the food was amazing. We liked it so much we went back a few days later. I would highly recommend the steak and the ragu also the mushroom salad. Next time we are in Bologna we will be returning to Roberto’s!

10/10A lovely, small, friendly place. Tables are close together and make for friendly conversations with fellow diners. The food is outstanding. The prices are reasonable. We ordered the balanzone and the tortellini in brodo as our primi. Both excellent. Secondi orders were coteletto- veal bolognese style- which was tender and delicious. The Stinco- roast pork shank - was fabulous. Finally, don’t miss the tiramisu! Service was efficient but never rushed. Dinner for two was just over 100€ with a bottle of wine and water. Great place.

10/10Absolutely loved this place! We were treated as visitors and friends, not tourists, with much warmth and great good humour. The food was genuine: really good, great portions, lots of variety, sensible pricing. I would move to Bologna for this.

10/10A great welcome from the staff to this understated little gem. The menu was filled with authentic beautifully cooked local dishes - everything we had was excellent, the food and the wines - and all very modestly priced. We visited twice for dinner because, quite frankly, after several evenings of dining out this was the best by far!

10/10Taverna di Roberto has a rustic and comfortable ambiance. Roberto and his team are attentive, customer friendly and provide service at a comfortable pace so you do not feel rushed. We shared the fresh mushroom salad to start and then one of us had the verde tagliatelle with Bolognese ragu and the other had the beef filet. We shared a tiramisu to finish. It was an excellent meal. The restaurant was fully booked on a Wednesday evening. We noticed at least 8 walk ins get turned away. Definitely worth the effort to make a reservation so you can enjoy their menu.

9.5/10Really great little place centrally located. We went on our first night in Bologna to have the "King & Queen" of Bologna food - the ragu tagliatelle & tortellini in chicken broth. Both were fantastic! Combined with excellent starters and a good bottle of Montepulciano nobile made for a fantastic experience all around. Definitely recommended!

7/10The food was fantastic. Unfortunately the service was absolutely horrible. We were sat at a table in the very far corner of the back room and were completely ignored. We watched several people come and go while we waited. The man who appeared to be the owner was the only one who helped us but he didn’t come in the room often. The waiter who was taking care of the room didn’t even look in our direction one time. The only time we were able to get any service was when we were able to get the owners attention.

6/10Tortellini in broth and fresh mushroom salad as the first course were excellent but pork knuckle, potatoes and spinach in the main course were extremely salty and we couldn't finish them. In our previous visits, the food was good, so maybe this time the chef made an error.
