Service was excellent, food was good and it had a nice atmosphere. I liked the fact that there were a lot of French in the restaurant and we were the only foreigners. That tells you it is not a tourist trap.

We ordered mozzarella sticks for an appetizer, out of the 4 one was still frozen and not fried at all. The main courses were nice. The place is small and the atmosphere is nice

Great food and vibes! Wish they would have given us a heads up that sparking water was 7.50 Euros. Otherwise service was excellent!

Liam was the perfect host, he attended us very nicely. The food was as good as it gets, my boyfriend and I enjoyed it every dish. The snails are a must-do.

Very nice service, the guy with the sunglasses does a very good and honest job. We really enjoyed his ways, gave the brasserie a very personal touch :)

+1We found this place for a late lunch and were delighted with the experience! Food was great, tasted like home and the service was lovely too! The restaurant was quite empty at the time and therefore very calm and cosy for a late lunch/very early dinner. Would come back and recommend for everyone who's looking for a place to have a simple great homemade food.

It was a good steak for not big price, as for a low cost Teverne in centre of Paris .

Very good value, in a cheeky tavern - drink, entree, plat and dessert for $37E. Has quite a few bar snack items, such as nachos, burgers. I'm sure Most visitors appears would enjoy it. We had French appetizers entrées and they were Quite good. The chevre chaud was on rectangular commercial bread and I would've preferred some thin angled slices of toasted baguette, or perhaps brioche or seeded bread. We also met some very nice people there and the bar master is delightful.

Boring Taste

The restaurant is not big, very attentive service. We enjoyed our time there.

the food was ok, felt it was very small portion for the price. the service was quite slow when it wasn't very busy. refused the discount then offered to put on just the desserts finally street insisting put it on the whole food bill.

The staff here are very warm and friendly, the quality of dishes is also very high, the boss of the shop decoration also has his own ideas, very distinctive shop

The salads were decent to start. The duck and steak looked like something you’d get served by an airline. Pretty awful. To top it off, the computer generated bill added quite a bit higher than it should have and I noticed and it was corrected. Never seen that trick before.

Booked in on the day, very accommodating for kids choice, lots of chef specials. Waiter was really friendly

My yum points were allowed despite all the arrangements and communication before hand. I was very embarrassed as guests were there and wondering what was going on. It stated clearly that the yum point can be used in this restaurant and the set lunch was permanently for the fork. only when it came to payment it was a different rule by the manager. I am not impressed and the fork need to get this sorted.

Amazing place, very cozy with a very good service, different from many other places in Paris where client is nothing…. The owner is extremely nice and careful. Really feel responsible for your nice staying in the Taverne without being too Carry:) nice balance of service. The food is tasty! Cream brûle c’est magnifique ( merci chef)

We had a lovely late lunch here, and the service was fast enough and good. Servers were friendly and spoke English, and the food was very good! Good portions, and very tasty. I recommend the mozzarella sticks with avocado starter and the steak frite

Our family of 13 were treated with such special care by Adil and made our last night in Paris truly special. The food was amazing and there was a variety of options — everyone right down to the 7 year old said it was a 5 star occasion. Adil’s warmth and generosity of spirit was especially noteworthy. Would highly recommend this lovely place and the wonderful people who serve with such grace

This restaurant is great. All the dishes ordered were well cooked, and the Fondant chocolat was super! The service was good and the general atmosphere was warm.

Great little place away from the hustle and bustle of Paris. Very accommodating even with a language barrier, would definitely come back again!
