Most amazing pasta ever! If you love black truffles then this black truffle pasta is for you. So simple…. Just truffles, pasta water, and a little cheese. But the amount of truffle you get is amazing! The service was wonderful! We sat for several courses while we got out of the rain.

Wonderful evening dining at La Tavernetta 48. The cheese with fresh porcini mushrooms was delicious and the four cheese ravioli with cacao a real treat. Our server was attentive and very helpful. I can’t wait to return!

Food was good. Service was just ok- the restaurant did not confirm our visit or honor our discount. Our server rarely checked on us despite attending to several other guests in the same room. We sat for 30 minutes after our plates were cleared, waiting for our check and only received it when we flagged our server down to ask for it.

I don’t leave reviews of any kind, but I’m making an exception for La Tavernetta 48. I’ve been to Rome three times so far this year, and always on the search for a good dinner restaurant. Last evening I found an exceptional one. Greeted with a smile and a glass of Prosecco. Then the Tuscan bread salad, fresh and delicious. Next the ravioli filled with cheese, and the tiramisu for desert. Every plate was exceptional. And the wine list has a very good selection. I will be back to Rome this year, and will return to La Tavernetta 48.

This place does a really nice twist on Roman food! The carbonara was amazing, and the lasagna had great taste. The presentation was tip top, but the portions aren’t huge, so keep this in mind. Also the tables inside are very tiny, so I would reccommend sitting outside

We have lunch set men 25€ pp and value for money as it is included water, wine and bread. Overall food is ok. My main is sausage with potato but sausage is very salty. The desert is the best out of all. Service is good and they don’t over charge or add extra charges for bread or water.
