4.5/10Food undercooked then meat came back tough as old boots when I asked for it to be cooked a bit more. Left nearly all of it. One waitress (fantastic) on duty for the whole restaurant. Supposedly in The Fork’s top ten for La Chasse but they had none on the menu. Wondering how that happened…

10/10We booked a table for 6.30pm but the dinner menu didn’t start till 7 but our waiter was happy for us to sit and wait with a drink and we actually got our food before 7 in the end. We had the set menu for 54. It was very good value and absolutely delicious! Wine was good and our waiter very friendly! Indoor and outdoor seating. Gorgeous place!

10/10A very nice setting that is conveniently located between the main train station and lakefront, the Veranda has very engaged staff who are attentive and fun as well as serving up some delicious food (to quote them describing the tiramisu “it’s like a cloud!” It was ! A tasty one

8.5/10We enjoyed our food at this restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was good and interesting. My wife had veal, which she really enjoyed, and I had a very tasty risotto. The place itself is very pleasant, with a good atmosphere. The night we were there there was a big group, but it didn't interfere with our food. It can be highly recommended if you are staying near the main station in Geneva.

10/10Great little terrace close to the main train station in Geneva - beautiful ambience on a warm summer day with delicious food and tasty wine. They have a lunch special that changes on different days of the week that was reasonably priced and interesting. On the day I went, I was able to snag one of their special pistachio and cherry tiramisu desserts and it was INCREDIBLE!

9/10We were pleased to find this restaurant open on Sunday. The service was very good: staff very pleasant indeed. The food was very well cooked and tasty, though we did feel that the size of the portion of sea bass was very small indeed (especially compared with the tuna, which was exceedingly generous).

8/10Food was slightly salty, but otherwise very good. Had the squid ink risotto as main course and the apple crumble for dessert. This came as part of the menu du jour. Unfortunately there was only one course available for the menu, but still very satisfactory.

10/10La Veranda is a very cozy place with internal and external ambience. A compact menu presents around 5 options for salads, pats, fish and meat. Any of this will be well served, tasty and balanced. The meats dishes are served with vegetables and sort of Duchesse potatoes. The service is fast and efficient and Gilles will be glad to explain you any details or will suggest something based on your preference. The price is very affordable (around 50 franc per person without drinks) and we recommend for who likes French food.
