2/10We showed up at the restaurant on time with a confirmed reservation from the Fork. However, the restaurant manager informed us that they had a private event and would not be able to honor our reservation. At first, he insisted that we didn't have a reservation, but when we showed him the confirmation he then rudely stated that he will not be able to honor it. We would have been satisfied with a simple apology and help in securing a reservation at a comparable restaurant nearby, but that was not offered. In the end we probably didn't miss much as this restaurant is in a tired hotel that is in need of a remodel and is in a bad section of Paris. I would not recommend this restaurant or hotel to anyone.

8.5/10We made a reservation but when we arrived they didn't know that we where coming. A strange start that didn't get any better. We booked here because of the high score in TripAdvisor. The personnel are very friendly, but the ambiance wasn't good. Too bright, bad music choice (disco and too loud), smell off toilets, sitting next to the empty breakfast buffet of the hotel and the room was too big for the 4 tables that were taken. Food and wine was ok but a small menu and way overpriced for the hotel lobby vibe that you are sitting in. Sorry for the staff and chef but please reorganize your restaurant.

4.5/10One of the least charming, weirdest and least pleasant food combinations I've ever experienced in Paris. Kudos to the service staff and maitre d', but there were weird too sweet and stale feeling crunchy items (old caramelized nuts?) in several dishes. Not at all a pleasing combination of textures and flavors. Experimental mistakes: duck breast and artichoke dish, and I'm guessing other items as well.

10/10The diner was excellent from the welcome of the team unitl the end. The food is great. the design of the restaurant is very moderm and it's not noisy. I will come back again.

6.5/10Too expensive for the food they serve. The staff is kind, but they walk around a lot. I ate the canette: tender, but difficult to cut. It was good because it was near my hotel, but there are other restaurants with better food for less price

9/10Fantastic surprise! The restaurant is beautiful, atmosphere is sophisticated and cosy, and the service was very friendly (thank you Eliott!) The food was excellent, perfect fish for example, and creative & original too! We had a great evening!

8.5/10This is a very classy restaurant with a very extensive wine list and exclusive French cuisine prepared by Japanese lady chef. I enjoyed fully the menu which is the bento prepared with a very delicate Japanese touch. Although the service was very attentive for this grade of cuisine they need to be more professionals.

7.5/10This was a Sunday buffet brunch. While there was an abundance of food, nothing was hot, only luke warm and for the most part the food was tasteless. When we made the reservation on The Fork, there was no indication that the meal would be a buffet, had that been revealed we would not have eaten at this restaurant. If quantity is more important than quality this might be a good place to eat. The room was very nice and the service was also excellent.

9/10La Verriere is a very elegantly decorated modern restaurant near to Montparnasse station . The food is Japanese /seafood fusion so there's plenty of ginger which creates interesting flavours. The staff are very welcoming.
