Wow. The service a La Xarxa was perfect. Our hostess had answers to all of our questions, gave us great advice, and explained things very well. The place is the perfect size with lovely decor. The food was phenomenal. Each bite crafted with care and attention to texture, colour, flavour, scent, mouthfeel, and more. It was a carnival of delights.

Absolutely delicious food, beautifully presented, and the attention to detail was very much appreciated. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. If you want to escape the typical touristy restaurants, then go to La Xarxa, you will have a memorable experience, well worth it!!

Cooking that puts the emphasis on wowing the palate rather than the eye, Chef Oscar brings out the best qualities of the products at his disposal. Cooking that is true to the essential flavors of each ingredient, flavors that dance on the tongue, and resonate with savory satisfaction. It was truly an honor to experience this young gifted chef’s joy realized in his dishes, as well as to have been served with such care and attention by his Mother, who preceded him in the kitchen of this second generation family establishment.

Really good dishes; we had navajes (razor clams), rock and roll (brioche buns with steak tartare), arroz de xef and delicious desserts. The waittres was very nice and attentive. We really enjoyed it.

The alcachofa with rock fish was divine which we shared. This was followed by bacalao and tuna tartar which were also exceptional. We enjoyed desserts of the best tiramisu and coulant with pistachio ice cream. I enjoyed a wine by Domine and we ended with cafe con leche. Service was superb and helpful. It was a great lunch.

We thourougly enjoyed our evening at Xarxa, a really delicious menu of local food sometimes with an interesting twist. Oscar was a wealth of information and really lovely with us, explaining all the dishes in detail and helped us pair excellent wines with the food. Highly recommend!

Food overpriced. Ordered 5 appetizers for 2 people from vegetables to seafood, tasted good yet all came with similar creamy texture. Each dish could have had more identity of their own to form a more dynamic menu. Ordered 1 main dish but kitchen accidentally over salted but restaurant openly and quickly admitted and switched to another dish.

Food and service were outstanding! Best restaurant in Tarragona. Waitstaff was wonderful and presentations were lovely. We’ll be back. Loved the experience.
