Came because we saw the wonderful reviews. They appear to have been mistaken- we left hungry after spending an enormous amount for 2.5 people. The place constantly tries to upsell you & does it when you aren't paying attention. The food was also surprisingly bad- except for the Pizza Capricciosa with speck instead of ham (2e extra) which was fantastic . The grilled chicken on the La bar salad was fried & when we asked why, they said the chef "didn't have time & thought frying it would be faster". Then they brought back grizzly, inedible chicken thigh. When we asked the waiter why, he said "I don't know why it's so bad- it's usually white meat but oh well". The salmon trout was fishy & dry. The Mediterranean Pizza was very plain. The staff members were kind, aside from the waitress who was determined to keep adding charges to our bill for things we didn't order. Maybe they had an off day but just something to consider!

Very good location in Ortisei. Wonderful staff. Amazing food. Beautiful decoration. Excellent value for money. Little else to say, just go if you happen to be in the area.
