10/10I had a very pleasant evening - comfort food, great service and a nice view with sundowner. A good choice of vegetarian, vegan, meat or fish menue with local ingredient.

5/10This is a great Jazz establishment. Good musicians and music venue. My wife ordered the vegan special and I ordered the Pork set menu. Both my wife’s food and mine were from disappointing to horrible. My main course was totally inedible. We were in at opening and I suspect what we were getting was from the night before. This is the only restaurant in Venice I have had any issues with. It really is a music venue that serves bad food. Eat somewhere else before going to venue. Frank kenny

10/10On a chilly Venetian evening, as soon as we entered this beautiful restaurant, we were welcomed by the warmth and friendliness of the waitstaff and the beauty of the venue. We were impressed by the quality of a photographic exhibition across all rooms and walls, showcasing the work of 11 incredibly talented female photographers, as well as the spaciousness and design of the spaces and furnishings. The open kitchen was absolutely sublime, serving simple dishes with fresh and expertly cooked ingredients. Unfortunately, there wasn't a live concert on the evening of our visit, but the background music perfectly complemented the magic of the place and was well-curated. We highly recommend it and will definitely return on our next visit to this wonderful city

10/10A quiet gem of a restaurant on a quiet canal. Attentive service with good local wine recommendations. Warm caponata tambale and thinly sliced tender pork were great starters. The pasta course with chicory and $2chestnut leaves was memorably delicious. And the tiramisu with espresso soaked ladyfingers was the best we had in our two weeks in Italy.

7/10We had high expectations because of the very good reviews. First we needed to change the chairs (the restaurant has 2 types of chairs (we were sitting on a kind of camping chairs - nice for camping, but not for a birthday dinner). Then the food came nearly cold (Lasagne and Spaghetti Carbonara). We told the waiter and he explained us that the Carbonara can‘t be served warm because of the eggs. They brought us the Carbonara once more - this time warmer. The really good thing is that we were sitting next to the water, but anyway there are many more restaurants in this road, which where also much better booked. All in all it was disappointing and I would not recommend this restaurant.

Oh, we're sorry to hear that the 'camping chairs' didn't quite meet your expectations for a birthday dinner! But, you see, they are actually 'director's chairs' in style, perfect for those who want to direct their meal with flair ????. Regarding the food, we understand your concern about the temperature. Carbonara can be a tricky dish to serve hot due to its delicate ingredients, but we're glad you received a warmer version on the second attempt. The waterside location is certainly a highlight, but we understand there are many other options in the area. 10/10By getting off the beaten path, you’ll be rewarded with untouristy restaurants like Laguna Libre. This hidden gem specializes in great Venetian food with honest and unpretentious service. You just have to try it and enjoy a great meal.

10/10This was our first visit and won’t be our last. We were looking for a cuisine which, whilst pure Italian, wasn’t the general kind of food one gets as a tourist. A bit more ‘haute cuisine’ (in Italian). We weren’t disappointed. Two of us had pumpkin soup with beetroot sauce, one a baccala melange with plain and fried baccala plus polenta and aubergine mousse and one a reportedly ‘wonderful’ salad with avocado (mousse, ricotta and chestnutsand other things I can’t remember). For mains, we had, severally, a vast chunk of succulent lamb with a spiced Savoy cabbage (a bit like sauerkraut), a beef casserole in a rich sauce with orange and polenta, a beautifully light gnocchi with duck ragout and a lasagne with

7/10Food was nice. We odered gnocci with duck bolognese and spaguetti nero di sepia. The outside tables next to the canal give it a romantic setting for dinner. Unfortunately the service was very slow and the temperature was cold so a few heaters would've made it a more enjoyable experience.

10/10I was so surprise about this restaurant, the food was really good and it coast this money. The stuff was really friendly and pleasant!They was so kind to change the hall there was a life music even if i have booked in the other hall. The total bill was correct for this meal! 10/10We have been in Venice for 8 days. We had our first dinner at the Laguna Libre and tried 5 other restaurants in the neighborhood. We decided to come back to the Laguna Libre for our last evening because we thought this was the best restaurant we have tried in Venice.. And it didn’t disappoint us. Everything is of the best quality: the food, the service, the atmosphere and the music. Highly recommended!

10/10A menu with lots of choice based on seasonal, fresh food. The food itself was very well prepared and presented. A starter of asparagus with delicious mousse accompaniment was excellent as was the other starter of mussels in a saffron sauce. We both thoroughly enjoyed our next course of home made bigoli with seafood which was a fresh tasting pasta dish. The service was friendly and attentive and we were totally relaxed at our canal side table with typically Venetian views of the lovely buildings. There was a bit of a wait between starter and second course, but, given the lovely setting, we didn't mind. Fair pricing for both food and drinks.

9.5/10The food was excellent, and the service superb. The Fork had told the restaurant we had cancelled - which we hadn't - but a table was found and we had a wonderful meal. The chairs were uncomfortable and the music strange but for a different night out in Venice, couldn't be beaten!
