Best meal(s) we had during our 2-week trip to Portugal! We had fish of the day, the picanha, and the textures of chocolate for dessert, and everything was so delicious. We were so happy with our meal that we came back again the next day to try other things on the menu (the pig on the fire, ceviche, shrimp stew, and pear cheesecake). Again, everything was delicious, and the price was about the same as most other regular restaurants we had been coming across in Portugal. Highly recommend!

This restaurant is actually a charcoal grill. Start with the good things: steaks very tasty, chicken very good. Rustic potatoes crispy and not greasy. Salads fresh and local. Starters very good. Couvert all home made and good...bread excellent. Service friendly, nice but not that experienced -yet.Now the lesser good: long waiting time for food. Sparkling water went out after 6 little bottles, wine from list not available, then replaced, 2nd bottle not possible. Other bottled offered, but not mentioned that almost 3x the price. On request, price was adjusted to the 1st one. Overall...interesting experience. For steak lovers good...expect surprises...but...to make the 20 minutes trip from Nazare....consider!
