I recently visited Lanter Asian Fusion and overall had a good experience, though it didn’t fully live up to the high expectations set by its reviews. We started with the mussels in coconut milk, which unfortunately were the weakest dish of the night—nothing particularly wrong, just not very memorable. On the other hand, the duck magret was excellent: flavorful, well-cooked, and fun to eat, served in a way that you wrap it and eat it with your hands like tacos. Definitely a highlight. The steak with rice and fried egg was decent, but nothing special, while the seafood curry was very enjoyable and full of flavor. So overall, a bit of a mixed bag food-wise, but with some standout dishes. The restaurant itself is very small but cozy, and I’d strongly recommend making a reservation. One downside was the waiting time—we had to wait quite a while for both the food and dessert. It seemed like there was only one waiter managing the entire dining room. I've lived in Barcelona for ten years and I am total foodie, this is one of my favorite restaurants. The quality of the produce, the love in the cooking, the atmosphere and the prices are just unmatched.

+1The restaurant has a warm and elegant atmosphere, with perfect lighting and even a rose on our reserved table, which felt very special. The menu is simple yet clear, with detailed ingredient descriptions. We ordered rose tea and osmanthus tea: the rose tea was aromatic with a slightly sour note, refreshing and palate-cleansing; the osmanthus tea had a sweet floral fragrance with a pleasant hint of bitterness. For starters, the octopus was tender and well-balanced, with vermicelli that complemented perfectly. The scallops, mixed with vermicelli, were delicate and carried a refreshing fruity note. For mains, we tried the curry crab and the duck breast. The curry crab was rich and delicious with rice, but the duck was the real highlight – tender yet firm, with fragrant crispy skin and osmanthus honey adding depth. Paired with sweet bean sauce, lettuce, and thin pancakes, it felt Michelin-worthy. Service was warm and attentive, making the whole experience unforgettable. Highly recommended!

The food is so tasty and great friendly, gentle and "happy" service from Tatiana (I think that was her name) ! We were there with different friends three times in 10 days - everybody loved it. A real find! - Do yourselves a favour!!!

We had made a reservation at this restaurant, which went smoothly, and we were warmly welcomed upon arrival. Unfortunately, the person serving us didn’t seem to have their best day. Several dishes were brought to the table at different times, so each person received their meal separately. As a result, we couldn’t enjoy our food together. The starters were good, and the main courses were okay. Considering the many great reviews, we were left a bit puzzled — the food was decent, but far from exceptional. For a restaurant with such high ratings, we expected more.
Lantern Asian FusionWe are deeply sorry for your dining experience. It was a Saturday night during the San Juan Festival and the number of guests and orders was much higher than usual. The waitress missed a main course, which caused a discrepancy in the delivery time and we reprimanded her. We understand that she did have some sudden personal issues that day and it was a difficult day for her. She expressed deep regret for her unprofessionalism and hopes that you will forgive her.

The food is good. But the service was slow. Nice people but they needed an extra person to cope with the number of customers

Really good quality of different asian food. Ordered gyosas, baos and primavera rolls as starters and chicken curry and seafood noodles as main course. All to share and it was all really tasty
