We had a reservation but were seated in a back room that eventually did fill up with other diners but we were closed off from the main dining room, which I did not like. Apparently the thing to order here is the BBQ. We did not know. My husband ordered the lamb chops and asked for them to be prepared medium rare (I.e. pink on the inside). The server appeared to understand this request. He received a plate of very thin cut chops cooked to annihilation. Tough, dry and grossly overcooked and completely unseasoned…not even salt and pepper. I ordered fish. My meal was ok. It needed a bit of seasoning as well or at least a squeeze of lemon . A drink menu would’ve been nice. I ordered a tinto verano, which I do enjoy, but it was inappropriate for my meal. Our server was pleasant. There’s a nice ambiance and vibe. Wish we’d known about the BBQ. Once our back room filled up we noticed that was the dish EVERYONE ordered!

The staff were so welcoming and attentive. They couldn't do enough to please. We cooked the most amazing steak at our table. The fries, with skin on were crisp and tasty along with the recommended Belgian sauce. A wonderful experience!

We had the Galician aged steak. It was superb. Only drawback is it comes with charcoal hot plate , that causes the room to be uncomfortably Smokey. The little extractor above the table was useless. Maybe turn the main over head industrial extraction on full .

Steaks mediocre and they gave us more than we ordered. Napkin had lipstick on it. Salad leaves brown. When we asked for bill couldn’t find staff to pay it, eventually did and was rude as literally just handed the card console to us with no contact. The service really let it down! And I am not sure we really got the steak cut we ordered as was quite tough. Would not recommend

Lovely staff, great service. The food was incredibly good and the steak was great quality. Highly enjoyed our dinner there and would definitely go back if in Alicante again.

The steak was good, but, a tiny bowl of potatoes between two people, a cold BBQ, which was rectified tbf, no bread served to our table and very intermittent service, just not worth 100 euros for two people with x2 beers, x1 Coke and no starters or deserts

Firstly there was no Wagyu steak available, which for a steak restaurant is totally unacceptable!! We consequently ordered the Cote de Boeuf for 5 people. It arrived at the table with one small hot plate to cook our own!! Very difficult for 5 people.Also the fries were meagre and cold !! Also we requested mustard 4 TIMES !! Eventually arrived at the end of the meal!! Not sure how it’s got such a high rating. Very Very disappointing!! Have eaten in many restaurants in Alicante which are hugely better!

The atmosphere was good a good number of diners all enjoying themselves. Good steaks, staff were helpful.

The staff is very friendly but understands only very basic english. The menu consists only of tapas, steaks and hamburger, and the steaks are only served with fries, no side orders available. The atmosphere was quit and cosy, I had a good time with my family .

Staff were amazing and really took care of us. The steak was probably the best I’ve ever had, no need for sauces or anything like that, the quality was outstanding.

Whilst all our issues were solved eventually, it left a poor impression after eating here previously with no problems. Met on time and took inside following our reservation, but servers got the order wrong so we had to wait longer than usual. Food arrived cold and one of poor quality, so both meals sent back-mine arrived warmer and my wife's was changed to a decent quality. Then, on ordering a bottle of red wine, the waiter came with it and started pouring it in a glass we had drunk white wine from! Everyone was apologetic and eventually, all was good, but it ensured we will never go back.

Visited whilst on holiday in Alicante, the staff were extremely accommodating and attentive throughout. The food was exceptional, will we definitely dine here again.

Nice place, friendly service and good and fancy food, bur not to pricy. Only reason i hold back on my rating is because the food was a little bit plain, and the waiter forgot to bring bread, and the coffe came late as well. Over all great plage

No napkins on the table had to wait over 10mins for menu and nearly 10mins for to be ask for a drink order. final order was taken for the meal the meat was ribeye it came out just fat for the price of in weight with a small bowl of fried potato's by the time they got the fire to cook the meat are potatoes where finish had to ask for more very poor service all around is it because we are not Spanish never got the bread that was order and never got a chance to order wine with our meal poor all round and by the way had to ask for a napkins after are dinner poor

Terrible steak, for 4 we were supposed to be able to cook our own meat ( but the Staff forgot the BbQ) meat was very fatty. So disappointed as number 1 on trip advisor. & high expectations of hopefully our best night out. The manager did cancel our meal which was nothing less than we expected. Staff Disinterested in our predicament. All in all very disappointed, would not recommend.

We ate dinner here on the last night of our holiday in Alicante. A group of six, we made a reservation through The Fork after reading other reviews of Las Brasas de San Miguel. Fantastic experience! Service is excellent, both the greeting on our arrival and our table service, professional and friendly. We all loved our meals, from grilled octopus to hamburgers to steaks. Beers, soft drinks, and a bottle of Roble (around €30) were all lovely. A pretty interior, well laid out so that we were not distracted by neighboring tables. Highly Recommend!
