This is a nice place. The building is old and beautiful and the decoration is simple but catchy, with very intense colors that make you think of Indian spices. Food was good. Not the best I have had, but still tasty. Maybe a bit on the cautious side spice wise, to conform to Swiss style and taste. We were served by nice and patient people. We felt welcome and they kept their eyes on us most of the time. No long waits either. All in all, a nice experience. I would go back.

The food was fantastic and the service is outstanding. If you’re in the mood for Indian food, Laxmi is the place to go in the heart of Lausanne.

Everything could be improved, there was nothing spicy about the whole meal, so such a shame because we were so looking forward to eating there ! We’ve been to India many times so disappointed…

It was the first but sure not the last time we visit this resto at the very heart of Lausanne, old city. the food and service were at the highest level. Place is definitely cosy, service is quick, food is delicious! thank you. Alina and Sergey

A perfect, nice little charming terrasse, in heart of the old town, for having a delicious summer dinner with authentic Indian food. Feeling been on holiday. Highly recommend!

We sat at the terrace, just down the Escaliers du Marché, so the tables were slightly slanted, but nothing to prevent us from enjoying the mild and light wind of those ancient streets, and especially enjoying our tasty and nicely spiced food.

Very tasty food, nice cosy atmosphere. Small restaurant with quick friendly service. For me it is the best Indian restaurant in Lausanne.

The staff were welcoming and available. The service was very efficient. We could easily accomodate the late arrival of one of our table. The food was very good.

the food was really good, the atmosphere was rather sober and calm, the waiter was helpful, but to the strict minimum. overall we have enjoyed the restaurant and would definitely recommend it

Amazing food and great service. Our waiter seemed to manage the whole restaurant by his own, yet charming and quick to cater to our needs. Very nice evening!

Best Indian food in Lausanne!

Very generous portions in general (except for the gulab jamon, which was only 2 pieces). Food was excellent, not as greasy as with other indian restaurants. Friendly staff.
