Lovely rooftop bar- bit chilly to eat but will be a stunning setting in less windy weather. Great cocktail too. Team couldn’t have been more helpful and the food was exquisite. Beautifully prepared and very flavoursome. Highly highly recommended.

We’re OG Italians living in the US, foodies and lived and travelled the world, we know food. This is one of the best experiences we’ve had so far ever in the world. Worth a star for food, ambience and service. We came back twice in 5 days! There’s no shortage of good food in and around Gallipoli but the location, ambience and service at Lazzaro makes it exceptional. We starter with a wonderful aperitivo on the rooftop (strikingly beautiful and well decorated), followed by dinner in the stylish dining room on the ground floor. Chef knows what he’s doing. Everything on the menu is fresh and worth a try. From crudo di mare (elevated by presentation and subtle dressings), to amazing yet light pasta dishes, to a sublime stuffed calamaro. The gem is their pizza. We tried Ambra the first time and one with nduja and spicy sausage the second time. The well crafted dish description cannot make justice to what you are going to eat once presented with the dishes. Pizza is light, not loaded, yet so flavoursome. Michelin-level everything! Well done to the staff and chef. We can’t wait to be back.

A great experience., unfortunately not to be repeated as we have now left Gallipoli. Menu was interesting and available only using iPhone. Prawn tartare delicious. My husband had a white fish pizza also very good. Tiramisu dessert highly recommended.

We arrived and were the only ones in the restaurant. We looked at the menu and selected the tasting menu. The waitress returned 5 minutes later to be told the chef says he can't do the tasting menu. We decided to leave.
Lazzaro and CaterinaAlle 19:30 è normale essere soli nel ristorante. E non si può lasciare una recensione negativa senza aver provato il menù, tra l'altro è scritto chiaramente che la disponibilità dipende dalla reperibilità del prodotto.

absolutely recommend to visit Lazzaro and Caterina. The food quality is excellent, the service is fantastic and the price is absolutely fair for what you get. The ambiance is great, with nice lounge-style music and a fully thought through interior design.

Awful experience! I booked specifically the set menu at The Fork for a special day. They did not have the menu, and what we ordered was served in a ridiculously small portion: ONE stuffed squid, a very small one. We were alone all the time in a somber big lounge. Bad, frustrating, depressing!

Basement Restaurant Indoor seating. . Wine prices high. Cocktails 12 euros. Plates are interesting. Americans Need to be a little adventurous here and follow guide of server..

Amazing food and drink (highly recommend the prawn appetizer, pasta mains were great), service was lovely, beautiful decor. A gem in Gallipolli!
