Such an unassuming but cute place - served by what we assume is the owner, who was very friendly and was happy to speak French, Spanish and English to us (sometimes all in the same sentence! 😊). Food was honest and super tasty (chef knows what he’s doing in the back). There wasn’t much mention of any vegetables on the menu, so we asked if he could knock up a side dish of veggies - OMG, they were delicious and we told him that that plate should go on the menu on its own! I’d be very happy to go back here.

Food was okay kinda bland, we were there a bit late but we were the ONLY ones there and the waiter awkwardly gave us a giant board for the menu lol but she was very nice

However, on other days and especially Sunday lunchtime, it is usually much busier 😊 Regarding the menu, we deliberately offer a wide selection so that everyone can find something they enjoy. It can also depend on what you ordered, as some dishes have more subtle flavors than others. We’re still very glad that you appreciated the welcome and the kindness of our waitress. We look forward to welcoming you again for an even better experience!

A typical Parisien bistro, run it appears by a husband and wife alone! All food was lovely and the dessert was massive! No complaints and would certainly eat there again.

This local restaurant had great food and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed what seemed like good home cooking. It gave real value for money compared to places on the tourist trail.

Dined at Le14 Juillet for New Years Eve. We reserved a table in advance as it was a celebration night. The food and service was fabulous - a real highlight to our New Year celebration in Paris. The menu is crafted of high quality ingredients and is varied in composition. The have a good wine list and a fabulous bar. We will certainly return to this delightful establishment upon our next trip to Paris.

The servers were very friendly and efficient but it took a tad too long to be served .....especially when dining with 3 young kids. I had the daurade and it could have been a bit more hot.....we weren't asked how the steaks should be cooked.....

Fine food if you want to eat things with meat in them. Traditional approach but nothing extraordinary - and I don't mean haute cuisine. French traditional cooking just used to be better than this in a wonderfully simple way. Even the relais routiers had a better proposition...but it's not fair to pick out one restaurant from that point of view. Perhaps the biggest disappointment was the wine... expensive and disappointing... Sorry but no reason to go back. As for the other reviews... maybe some people are too young to remember or just have no idea.... I'm in my 50's and have lived in France and eaten in restaurants everywhere. My main message to the owners... Sort out the wines and go back to grandma's approach... That was French cooking at its best.

We had deliciois steak and duck (good portions too!) as well as the Cointreau Creme brûlée which was amazing! The waiters were attentive and friendly and the restaurant was completely full with all local French clientele. I would really recommend this place for an authentic French dining experience.

We loved this restaurant. The server was very friendly and helpful, the food was delicious, the prices were fair and the place had a friendly, fun atmosphere. It was packed around 8pm on a Wednesday night. It was the best meal of our trip.

This is the place to visit if you expect quality and excellent service. Me and my wife will return next time we visit Paris. Yes, the thought of this place leaves a smile on my face!

This is a cosy Very authentic french restaurant with the most delicious food. I started with paté a la camagne. I was served the whole pot so that I could eat as much as I wanted. With cornichons. As entrée I had duck which was so great.!! It just fell apart, so tender. And last I had a perfect Créme brulée. I can highly recommend this place. The restaurant was full so do make reservations. I Will definitely come back. A bientot!

Super nice restaurant, it's hard for us to read the French handwriting menu, but the writer explained very patiently and gave us very good recommendations. The duck is very delicious. Definitely will back again

Le 14 Juillet is a perfect dinner in Paris -- wonderful food, warm friendly atmosphere, prompt and smiling service, really reasonable price. We loved it!!! Special shout out for the duck and the roast lamb both of which were excellent. Looking forward to going back soon!
