Small bijou restaurant. Attention to detail. Beautiful food. Not too expensive for Michelin restaurant. We chose the fixed price menu with two appetisers and two main courses plus dessert or cheese. Interesting amuse bouche, lovely tastes. They have been open four years.

An exceptional dining experience! Le Bénaton delivered on every level — the ingredients were incredibly fresh, the presentation was refined and artistic, and the flavors were soft, subtle, and perfectly balanced. Every dish felt thoughtful and elegant without being overdone. A true culinary gem in Beaune — highly recommended!

We were a group of 10 and were the only ones in the restaurant, on a Tuesday night. The food was excellent, with a depth of flavour and great flavour combinations. The service was very good and all of us thought the experience overall was superb. A limited menu, but what we had was enjoyed.

The food was inventive and excellent. The service was impeccable. It is a small quiet restaurant. There is an extensive wine menu from local burgundy vineyards and a great prix fixe menu. I recommend that as you will try things you might not have ordered and it takes the stress out of the experience.

The restaurant itself is lovely and we were seated in the backyard. The menu of the day contained pigeon which I always find difficult so we decided to eat a la carte. The real issue was the service which was neither friendly nor prompt and spread a bad ambience. We actually did not feel comfortable and skipped cheese and desert.

Good food, especially the appetizers and the starters. The main dishes were good but unsurprising. Overall we would have expected more Asian flavours. Service was very attentative at the beginning but draped off a little towards the end of the dinner.

My wife and I totally enjoyed our dinner at Le Benaton last night. The food was really good, service by the team was exceptional and ambience was lovely. We shared a degustation set and ordered one extra entree. A beautiful Auxey Duresses wine was recommended and it paired perfectly with our food. Would strongly recommend Le Benaton if you are visiting Beaune.

The restaurant had two large tables so we were the only other table. But we were served quite quickly. The pigeon was absolutely delicious - my partner doesn’t drink alcohol so I had glasses. Very expensive really.

Great food here, from amuse bouche to starters to main dishes, you can taste the fresh ingredients with not so aggressive seasoning. French style cooking and some asian fusion flavours, definitely a M-Star contender in burgundy for the food. Respectable wine list, but can be extended with more selection. The bowl of cold farm bread can fair better if its warm. All in all a very good fine dining experience with some surprising flavours.

Nice french food with japanese hints, whoch we liked, a lot. Winra bit too expensive, but a great choice and good quality. Nice restaurant, we can recommand it
