Paul, our waiter was phenomenal. He was patient, and very understanding. We went for my mother’s birthday. Even if our dessert took a little while, he was very professional and did everything to make us feel good. Now for the food: The seafood is really their specialty. The Saint Jacques was easily one of the best around (the taste was good and the texture was perfect). The Lobster is 4/5, the pasta was the perfect choice, portion size is 4/5 not too much but enough for us to share our plate a bit so that everyone could sample. Now for the seafood platter, the only thing I can say is that it is enough for one person. The shrimps were fresh and meaty. The oysters were gooey, and the lobster was delicious. The restaurant was clean, no blemishes on the plate or the glasses. My only caveat was the people around us were very noisy. I would not recommend the dessert though. The chocolate fondant was more akin to frozen chocolate than artisanal. I would recommend easily the Seafoods!

We enjoyed our dinner at de Buci! The scallop appetizer and French toast brioche desert were very good. The brazed beef chuck entre was also very good.

Such a great place. We came here for the first time and tried French onion soup and escargots — honestly, both were amazing. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. The atmosphere was really nice too, cozy but lively at the same time. Definitely one of those places you just enjoy being in. Would absolutely come back again.

We had a reservation through the Fork that was for some kind og promotion. the reservation asked for details before making the reservation- I asked for a table by the window. instead they seated us at at a table upstairs facing a WALL. I kid you not. A table facing a wall. we saw lots of people form the street getting tables, they were not full. when the server returned i said whats the deal- we didn't make a reservation to sit facing a wall his response was that we were there with a promotion so this was our table. If the restaurant doesn't want people on promotion don't offer it. I said who cares I will pay full price Im not facing a wall. MAGICALLY there was a table available out front and the food was fine. Sadly because it is near our favorite hotel, we will not return.

Decent Starter (snails), Excellent Main dishes (beef in wine, homemade sausage), Average Dessert (roasted pineapple). Top discount - 50%! Bravo! 10/10

Service is great!

This was an awful experience from start to finish. I am baffled by the high rating of this restaurant and feel that we were scammed. The food tasted like it was microwaved and was mediocre if not inedible. The truffle pasta was a mushy mess and the chocolate mousse tasted like a pile of dense oil. The service was atrocious, probably the worst I have ever experienced. Please save yourself the money and disappointment, and avoid this tourist trap at all costs.

Great restaurant especially the upper floor! Beautiful atmosphere and great french music. All the dishes we had were delicious and the staff was very nice and polite. Lot of french people were eating there which made the experience even more authentic.

The food tastes great but nothing extraordinary. However, the service is excellent and perfect. We felt welcomed and cared for.

The first visit was great. Great food, good service. We went back two days later. Food was wrong on my order.then it was cold. My wife had hers correct. Asked for butter. Did not get any. That’s why I had to give 2 stars.

Very nice bistrot, excellent food and great value for money. Very good surprise to find this very authentic restaurant in this touristy area. Very nice and attentive staff.

The food was really delicious and restaurant looks amazing for a dinner date. The service was nice but a bit too slow, take your time if you plan to go to Le Bistro de Buci.

+1Very busy on Friday night and the first table we were offered was by the stairs, but the staff moved us within 10 mins when another became available. Attentive staff who did a great job in a busy service. Scallops, paleron of beef and chocolate mousse were big hits - and full of flavour. Good portion sizes and good choice of wines by glass or pichet. Very good restaurant.

Lovely quiet place. Great food

The pasta is very fragrant, the taste of truffles is very strong, the taste of red wine stewed beef is very good, and the beef is very soft, but the mashed potatoes below are very sour. I asked the service staff, and he didn't quite understand what the reason was. In general, it was very good, and the service was also very good, but the speed of serving was a little slow, which is probably the essence of French food.

French Onion Soup was life changing

Everything was great at Bistro de Buci. The staff were friendly and the food was great! The only problem we encountered was that our orders were initially wrong when the dishes came out. Once the problem was discovered the issue was immediately remedied and we were served relatively quickly. Regardless, a good experience for a lowkey night in Saint Germain!

We had the ravioli and French onion soup for the app. For the man course we had the 1.2kg steak and fries. For dessert, the praline creme brûlée. Everything was amazing. The only thing that wasn’t top notch was the espresso shots, compared to Italy.

Delightful little bistro in the Latin quarter; traditional French cuisine although the croque monsieur was unconventional and the chocolate mousse was way to rich and heavy ..
