Slightly off the tourist streets, this bistro might lack the stereotypical look of a Parisian eatery, but don’t let that put you off. The Portuguese food is delicious. It’s a popular place and can get quite busy, but the atmosphere is great. A fantastic find.

This is a Portuguese restaurant. Best impression first: good value. The house wines were both decent, a red and a vino verde. Food was good not great, I did not like that my fries were drowned in liquid. The fried bacalao was good but there were some bones. The place is small, cramped and a bit of a local dive, but the staff were friendly and accommodating .. We paid 65 euro for two dinners and 3 glasses of wine, so fairly cheap.

Good service and good food. Door opened permanently lets the cigarette smoke inside restaurant and annoying for non smoking customers.

excellent food, great service, amazing Vino Verde (Green wine) . The Arroz con polvo (rise with octopus) is the best I have ever have.

Looked good on the website but we were put in a booth next to the toilet and by the kitchen serving hatch - there was a constant Q for the toilet and frequent loud interactions between the manager (?) and chef. Salad and chips were good but the steak (cooked to medium) was very tough and only partly edible. The waitress was very friendly and helpful but we will not be going back.

Great place for drinks and tapas. Many patrons were mostly local Portuguese. Just off Kleber, so not as touristy as other spots on the avenue. The vinho verde very good value at 4 euros. My chicken was crispy, but not the finest quality. My husband's beignet starter was good, but his beef sandwich dry. But the waiter was very fun. Will go back for apero.

Nice spot, nice and kind service but the food was not what we expected. The bakalau was dry and the Gordon blu was not good.

We went to have late lunch after receiving confirmation through The Fork, to find the restaurant closed! Very disappointing. The restaurant should have made sure that there is no booking today if they intended to close.

decent and affordable cuisine. it's more a bar than a restaurant. it also seems to serve as the local hangout of the Portuguese community. No frills, down to earth place. good vibes.
