9/10Excellent food & wine not bad which is what you want. Service was ok but serving a group of 12 blokes is often not the easiest ! We’ve visited this restaurant every year on our golf trip and the food gets better each year … we will visit again next year

10/10Really enjoyable food. A short menu with 5/6 choices per course and therefore cooked to perfection. Service was incredibly efficient, bearing in mind it was one person and circa 30 covers.

9/10A great little restaurant serving quality and good value food. The service was friendly, unobtrusive and helpful. Good selection of wines. Only thing I would have liked would have been some sides of veg available. Decor is a little strange but simple. We were situated on a table at the back of the restaurant without anyone else there which affected the ambience but elsewhere the restaurant was buzzing and we weren’t too bothered being by ourselves. Would definitely return. This is a great unpretentious restaurant serving quality food.

9.5/10One of the best meals we have had in a long time. The experience was marred by a loud group of (British) golfers. Being British ourselves, we apologised on their behalf. We will return and hope that the golfer don't!

10/10Pleased we got in as this is an extremely popular little restaurant in a very foodie town. Excellent service, great food beautifully presented and a pleasing selection of wines to accompany. Old and young enjoy its charms.

7/10Our table was ready for us when we were arrived. There seemed to be not enough staff but the whole restaurant was full so service was slow but the staff were all busy. Food was nice as per other reviews. Expected escargots to be in shells but they were in a soup, perhaps my french reading skills let me down there. Overall a good enough restaurant in a cute old town enroute to calais

5.5/10Its a nice place, with noce staff and good service, but our main course was simply terrible. Do NOT order the Tomahawk steak - we all did, but none of us will ever do it again.

7.5/10This restaurant surprised us. The ambiance was a bit sober . The main course tasted very good but I did not like the desert. The staff was friendly and at the end we payed a fair price. We definetely recommend this restaurant.

10/10We had a delicious 3 course meal for 30 euros. The starter of tomatoes and a mozzarella mousse was lovely. This followed by a huge piece of duck, dauphinoise potatoes and a variety of vegetables. Dessert was a delightful concoction of puff pastry, strawberries and cream. Definitely recommend this bistro

4.5/10Our starter was OK, however the main course we chose was disappointing. What we ordered was Angus beef cooked in a murette sauce with Gratin Dauphinoise. What we got were two strips of grisly meat and some soggy chips. My husband’s steak was a little better than mine, which was so grisly it was inedible. When we asked why we’d been given fries instead of gratin dauphinoise the waiter informed us, with a Gallic shrug, that the chef wasn’t cooking them tonight. Oh right. There’s lots of other places to eat in Montreuil so my advice is to give this place a swerve.
