10/10May I say perfect/parfaite! Our fourth day to dine in Paris this trip and Bistrot d’Yves is our favorite! We loved/amour everything from dining alfresco, quiet location, superb service and the outstanding food!

10/10The food was excellent and it’s obvious that tremendous pride is taken be all who work at this restaurant. Best quality food of all the restaurants we are at on this trip . While the menu is limited and changes daily it results in an excellent meal and quite reasonable as well .

10/10This is a wonderful French restaurant, the staff are charming and aim to help in every way, including Monsieur Yves. The food is superb, the best food we’ve had in Paris to date. Excellent.

10/10Very good value, beautiful presentation, very tasty. They have 4 different steak tartare son the menu which is quite a selection. Friendly staff, nice ambiance. This was our first time trying this place and we were pleasantly surprised!

10/10Found this wonderful little place while searching for a dinner spot we could make a reservation for. The food was innovative, fresh and so delicious. We enjoyed our time and the wine at this amazing restaurant! Highly recommend if you’re in the area. The chef came around to check on everyone and truly genuine in wanting to make sure everyone enjoyed their meal. A great way to end our stay in Paris!

10/10What a great wee restaurant. Wonderful staff , food and experience. Conversed I’m both English and French to explain the menu and we would definitely go back. It is a table d’hote menu but wow, what quality. A pure gem in the wonderful city of Paris

10/10Found this restaurant from the search engine which was 10 mins walk from our hotel. There were some great reviews already and thought I would give them a go and they did not disappoint. Menu choices not huge but adequate, there were 2 or 3 course options at a very reasonable price. Staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable and helped us choose a wine to each of our preferences and they were perfect pairing. Food were well presented and delicious. I would visit again in the future and highly recommend to any new visitors staying near the area.

9.5/10Friends recommended we go based on their recent experience and we were not disappointed. The owner continued to check on us, The waiter recommended an amazing wine after the one we ordered was sold out. Dessert was the the best with a pain per deaux! Highly recommend!!

10/10Service was excellent. Food was absolutely incredible. I highly advise you to get the salmon tartare as a starter and the salted caramel desert. And the price was very good. Could not recommend any more.

10/10So glad I sourced this restaurant. The food was incredible and service to match. Would definitely recommend the lamb shank and dauphinois potatoes- the gravy juice was delicious. The chocolate fondant was also excellent and standouts for us.

8/10The food and service were quite good. The beef tartare was not the best that we had so far, but there were other dishes that looked interesting, although we didn’t manage to try them. The prawn carpaccio can skip it, the sauce was not a good match in my opinion, and the prawns were over cooked.

10/10A really wonderful restaurant - friendly and welcoming with lovely food. Both my wife (who is French) and I thought it was one of the best we have been to for some years. Authentic, but not in a “try hard” way: everything was just right. I don’t write many reviews, but I try to when I think a restaurant is close to perfect! This one was.

8/10Very friendly, good service - 4 stars because we asked about onions and the server said there weren't any in the starter which was wrong, perhaps he was new... The vegetarian dish was a bit basic. The food was fresh, good ingredients nicely presented, I think it's pretty safe bet you'll have a goos meal here.

10/10Really nice place, nice service and good food, defintaly recommend. Our server was funny, and of good advice. The owner ( I assume) even came asking us how the evening was... we do not see that much that in Paris anymore...

4.5/10Due to all the references on Tripadvisor we had dinner here, and were amazed about the positive outcomes. The freshly made chips tasted mostly like frying fat. The baked beef tartar supposed to have amazing taste of coconut and red onion, which did not. The prawn curry had 4 dried prawns, a watery curry saus and crunchy black rice. The chocolate lava cake with ice cream was good, but let's face it, you can buy those in a supermarket and it would taste the same. Our wine was poured at the counter instead of the table, so you had no idea what was actually being served. The côte-de-brouilly had a strange sour aftertaste. The ambiance was overlighted and sparsely furnished. More business looking, nothing cosy or something you expect from a 'bistro'. The only positive thing to say was the friendly staff. Overall a very disappointing experience.

What can I say? Everything is bad ... it took 6 years and more than 530 reviews on TA and 1910 on The Fork to read this. Yes, when you ask a glass of wine it is prepared at the bar, I don't know where is the problem but if you want to check or to see see the bottle, it's easy, just ask. If you don't like something in my restaurant, easy, you just have to talk to the waiter and we will change the wine or the main course. The good thing is your smile and words when you left the restaurant.....Of course I regret your disappointment and would like to ask you the address of the supermarket where we can find an homemade chocolate lava Cake ... I have to say that supermarket is not my benchmark!
