The food was excellent (except for onion tatin and pintade) but service is slipping. Left waiting far too long, staff starting to prepare for dinner while we we were still eating, little knowledge of what is served.

The service, and the atmosphere of the terrace were great. The food was also good, although my musles were a little bit too salty and I have had better fries. All in all, the experience was nice and I felt like a local.

We have eaten here numerous times, it’s OK for a quick lunch, but I would not have a dinner here

Very friendly and accomodating for english speakers. Wonderful food and having the combination menu for one price makes it very easy.

Great atmosphere with lots of the old world feel. Liked the locals enjoying and celebrating birthday parties around us.

What a great find in Christmas week, wonderful atmosphere and excellent service. Very dog friendly. Al a carte menu at €37 per person superb value. Amazing mushroom soup and tuna tartare, beef and duck and lovely desert. A very special evening

Not very friendly for foreigners. We didn't know 'facon grand mère' means bacon and my husband doesn't eat pork. Instead of apologizing for not specifying it in the menu, the waitress wasn't open to the feedback ; she treated us like everyone should know that and treated us poorly until the end of the evening (we weren't even asking for a change of meal! We exchanged between us; it was just a suggestion!). Regardless, the food was rather good for the price but not amazing.

We enjoyed our meal in this unfussy and efficient restaurant. When we arrived it was empty but it was absolutely packed by the time we left. The tables are all super close together which contributes to the lively feel of the place. We would love to visit again!

It was lovely to eat our again after lockdown. The staff was obviously just as eager and welcoming. The food was as good as I remember, fresh local and innovative.

The service is attentive and good. The food is lovely. As I am gluten sensitive the chef substituted tiny potatoes for the croutons on the salad after having asked about gluten for the previous course. That was a lovely touch as gluten sensitivity really limits choices and restaurants

Despite us being rather late, the welcome was really good and we had a wonderful meal. As a starter the duck liver was perfect for the main course my wife had a Dorade which was really good and my Cocquilles St Jacques were the best I had, including from higher scaled places. The cheese as a desert was okay but lacked sweet company, green salad as a dressing should come with cheese in my humble opinion. Nevertheless very good diner on quatorze Juillet in a nice setting below a picture of then lieutenant Napoleon with company
