We truly enjoyed our Christmas dinner. The staff were welcoming and helpful. We felt like home away from home on Christmas Eve. The truffle ravioli was delicious can be a bit warmer but the taste was yumm...the mushroom pasta and the huitres were delicious. Everything was great. I highly recommend this restaurant. Big shoutout to the owner🥂

food was great, lovely staff who explained the menu options clearly for us. I had a simple pasta and cheese dish, it was excellent, and all 4 of us in my party loved their meals. we even went back a second time, something we don't often do when on a short break.

Lovely Italian restaurant in Petite France. Atmosphere and menu great, waitress lovely. I loved my oysters with glass of cremant, and scallops and beef carpaccio both excellent. My Cacio e Pepe was great. Pizzas good too, and wine suggestion spot on. Only quibble - we did have to wait a long time for our food - unluckily we were behind a large group booking so although our waitress did apologise it was lucky we’d eaten some snacks before we came! That aside would recommend.

The pizza oven was broken on night we visited therefore half the menu not available. We were served stale bread out of a bag. Not good experience.

The attitude of our waitress was unfortunately terrible. She was passive aggressive with every answer she gave. It ruined our experience and would never return there. We were quite surprised we managed to get a table on Saturday night for 4 people with just 2 hrs notice. Now I know why. Its a shame because the food is actually ok. The oven was broken so there was no pizza, bread or foccacia but still fair play to the chef

Sachez tout de même qu'une plainte sera déposée contre la personne qui à frappé notre serveuse et estimé vous heureux que je n'ai pas ete présent à ce moment là. Pour ce qui est de la cuisine vous avez félicité notre cuisinier mais visiblement un compliment hypocrite. Pour ce qui est de la capacité de réservation nous avons plusieurs restaurants en ville ce qui nous permet de transférer nos clients en fonction des réservations afin de refuser le moins de tables possibles. Mais bon quand on réserve pour 19h30 et qu'on arrive a 18h30 je n'attend rien d'extraordinaire des le début.

The staff were extremely uninterested. Their behavior toward children and control over the table were very poor. We arrived at the place at 1:00 PM, and since it was closing at 2:00 PM, they rushed us to place our orders. When our friends arrived, the staff became even more stressed. They kept going outside to smoke while looking at us through the window. As someone who doesn’t smoke, I did not want to be exposed to that smell. My friend found the pasta sour and sent it back. The owner was also uninterested and rude, and charged us for the dish that wasn’t liked. Very poor service, very poor owner. Congratulations.

The restaurant is quite small, so tables are very close together. They have a good menu and what we had was very good. The problem was the service. We were seated at 7:15, placed our order at 7:30, and at 8:20 were still waiting for water, not to mention a first course. The young woman who took our order had no idea what she was doing, didn't know the menu, and clearly never put the order in. The gentleman who we assumed was the manager came by at 8:20 and we told him we had ordered and were still waiting. He took the order (again), and things got better after that. We finally got our beverages (after being seated an hour), and other clients who were there when we arrived were having the same issues. The food was very good, but we left without ordering dessert or coffee because we didn't know how long we might have to wait. They were about half full, so we have no idea why everything took so long, except there was only one person qualified to serve and take care of customers.

The host was very charismatic and welcoming! The restaurant is a bit outside the touristy area. There is a young chef who is creative in his dishes. We had a lovely time!

The manager was very warm and welcome and the food was very good. Recipes and ingredients were original and everything had a unique flavour. Note that it is at this place that I had the best ever Creme Brulee. Exceptional with authentic Madagascar vanilla.

The food was delicious and the server was super helpful and attentive. I ordered the pasta with truffles and they did not skimp on the truffles. My mom had the carbonara, which as rich and delicious. Highly recommend when you’re ready for some Italian food after so much rich French food.

This is not an Italian restaurant at all, everything is not prepared according to Italian traditions, it is not tasty at all and it is unreasonably expensive.

We selected this restaurant based on good reviews on Tripadvisor and The Fork. We had pizza, which was a disappointing experience: the dough/crust was definitely not home made, I guess they buy it ready made from a wholesaler. It had an industrial look and feel, it was very tough to cut. Pizza taste was bland, here as well it was hard to tell whether this was home made or sourced from a wholesaler. For desert we had the tiramisu, which was luckily much better and uplifted the experience. Next to this the Italian wines were very nice. It’s a pity, maybe we should have tried some of their pasta which looked nice on the menu. Just steer clear of the pizza !

Notre cuisine est ouverte nous avons volontairement retiré les portes afin que chaques convives puisse venir nous rendre visite et constater par la même occasion que nous faisons absolument tout maison, de la pâte a pizza jusqu'à la compote de pommes qui se trouvait sur votre dessert.

Cozy little italian restaurant with very friendly staff. Very straightforward menu with an emphasis on great quality produce, not pretentious. Great technique by the Chef, for example the cacio e pepe were spot on. Prices a bit on the steep Side, but totally okay for the overall experience.

Boccaccio is a great, intimidate, authentic Italian restaurant in Strasbourg that lives up to its billing. It is not a tourist spot, the pizza and other dishes are excellent, and the desert is unique. The mouse/tiramisu was outstanding. The help was attentive and patient.

Food was good, but ration was too small and price too high for what was served. The worse part was the service. Way too slow. 1h between the entrance and a plate of pasta. Pasta..

The restaurant is cozy and small but it feels like a family restaurant with a young team who is trying their best to make your smile. The food was tasty and service was professional and welcoming. The local win e they recommended was excellent The only thing I missed was a wider choice of dishes as it is a small menu but it was a good experience!

Good food, but disappointing service. 10 minutes to order drinks, 25 minutes to order food, 45 minutes to get first dish. Family at the next table, who were French unlike us, arrived after us and got their food at least 10 minutes before we did.
