Our cruise ship (Viking) gave us two days in Livorno and so we asked Bing AI what would be a memorable and delicious restaurant in Livorno. From among several options, we chose Le Botteghe. It was an easy walk from the center of the city and we had lunch outside next to a canal. It's hard to decide which was better - the gorgeous scenery or the delicious food. It was a tie. We had a wonderful Caprese salad, and delicious pasta and wine. I've said many times that our lunch at Le Botteghe was easily the highlight of a wonderful trip. Don't overlook this place. It's a gem.

The restaurant, staff and food were amazing. We had a very good time at the restaurant. We attempted to speak for Italian (very badly) and the very kind waiter was extremely patient with us. Sea food was excellent. Very happy with our experience.

Beautiful location (inside old brick walls, outside a floating terrace on the canal) and friendly stuff. We had a whole baked fish that was as fresh and delicious as they come! Great selection of wines.

Very nice service, staff including the owner superpolite and quick. Really doing their best. Very intresting service of food, the serve cacciucco apart boullion apart fish, gor example. The quality of the food is also good, but not exceptional.

The place is lovely, indoor and outdoor. We enjoyed a lunch outdoor and the food was really really good, high quality for a reasonable price. The location is in the city center, a perfect stop while visiting Livorno. Highly recommended. We will come back :)
