This is my “go to” place in Barcelona. The food is great as are the desserts. Everything is delicious and always reliable. Excellent choice

I like to try different places but this one place that I must go to several times a week when I am in Barcelona. Everything is perfect and delicious. The staff is amazing too. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Made a booking but got a poor table no heater had to ask to move - food was good but generally sloppy service and toilets needed to be tidied up

This restaurant is in a really fantastic old Roman building, a part of the Mercer Hotel. The food was great, and the staff was truly fantastic, taking time to describe certain dishes and make us feel at home. Highly recommend this restaurant!

We were walking around the gothic district and googled restaurants. Le Bouchon came up. We read the menu and made a reservation for 10 minutes later. The restaurant is inside a hotel that is off the beaten path and the food was out of this world and our waiter, Fabricio took great care of us. Highly recommend. The food recommendations by Miriam which were chef's new dishes of the day, aside of menu. Miriam is such an exuberant and welcoming person and the experience overall was fantastic.

The food was amazing and the staff made it an unforgettable evening, so very kind and gastronomical. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very beautiful, like a hidden treasure in a big busy city. I will definitely come back here someday!

The bistrot is part of a hotel but has a separate entrance. It’s a small, quaint, nicely furnished and cosy place. The lady serving us was very friendly and helpful but was swept off her feet being on her own. The food was delicious, Spanish with a slight twist and each dish being very particular and original. All was tasty!

Extremely high prices without any particular reason. We were served by a "welcoming, polite" waitress, whose whole posture proved to be really nervous-breaking and disturbing.

This little restaurant was excellent! The staff were super welcoming and the service was superb. Miriam took care of us magnificently. Always cheerful, communicative and helpful. We loved her! Nico and Mapfre also served us very well! They were very attentive and kind. The food was delicious! I had the pleasure of meeting the chef responsible for the restaurant's menu, Xavier Huerta. He was very kind to us and deserves congratulations for the menu created for Le Bouchon. We'll definitely want to go again!

Nichola the bar tender is the best. Great service great experience. Fine tapas and outstanding drinks. Quiet ambience for a Monday not their fault.

Food was fantastic, lots of flavour. Unfortunatly during our main course a group entered trowing off the kitchen leaving half of our table without main and waiting for 45 min. Waiter Carlos was amazing with appologies but that didn’t change our situation of course. Would I eat there again, yes.

Food quality is absolutely very good. Portions are a bit small for the pricing they ask. Therefore you end up with quite a bill at the end...

The restaurant looked lovely, and had the potential to be much nicer. We sat outside, it took a while for anyone to provide a menu to us. When they did, it then took a while for anyone to come and take our order. We were given the wrong food order & general service was quite rude.

We enjoyed an elegant meal and service a few days ago with the restaurant. As good as it gets — Highly recommended! Our return to the tapas restaurant was a bit disappointing. A few items on the menu weren’t available and we found the service hurried and server curt. Not a bad experience, but not special like our dinner had been.

This is a beautiful looking restaurant, but the service was very disappointing. The food was ok overall - we did however end up sending one of the dishes (salad) back as it was missing some of the ingredients. Even after the ingredients were added, it was still really disappointing. Unfortunately we ended up leaving the restaurant early and sadly won’t be returning.

Le Bouchon is a very nice restaurant in the heart of Barcelona's old city (Barri Gòtic) Its cuisine is excellent in taste and presentation. We had some "tapas" and they were fantastic. Besides, service is also very good. They really take care of you and you feel very welcomed. I strongly recommend it.

Wonderful atmosphere. Quiet corner of the Gothic Quarter. Food was delicious, service was attentive. Server was friendly and helpful in crafting a superb meal. Chef was simply amazingly creative. We will definitely return to Le Bouchon.

Nice place with a lot of potential. Unfortunately service was a bit slow and the environment would benefit from improving details - i.e. patio has metal chairs without any cushions.
