The food was amazing (we had the duck confit and butcher's choice) and outside ambience was very energetic and young but not too crowded. We were seated inside (which was still very nice!) but not sure if us being seated inside was due to availability outside or because we were "discount" patrons with TripAdvisor discount? Although the staff was very kind and attentive they did not speak English at all which was difficult since we don't speak any French. The only reason we give 4/5 stars instead of 5/5 is that we did not see that dessert x2 was required for the 30% discount to be applied to final bill (perhaps I missed this in the fine print? But a reminder would have been much appreciated at start of meal as a warning to what may counter discount from being applied.) I think ordering drinks/wine should suffice even with discount rather than making us spend >$16 on dessert that we had no interest in ordering--but still was all still incredibly delicious nonetheless!

The restaurant is nothing fancy, but the food is good and was reasonably priced. I had the Duck Confit and my wife had the Salmon. Both dishes were tasty and perfectly prepared. For desert we had the hot chocolate cake with a salty caramel sauce. It was to die for...worth the extra calories. The restaurant had 8-10 tables and seemed to cater mostly to locals. It didn't have a romantic atmosphere, but you should consider going for a solid meal at a reasonable price. We didn't receive the published discount off our bill, but the value seemed fair so we didn't push the issue.

We looked for a good place for lunch near the Pompodou & got the recommendation from trip advisor.(thanks) It's on the side of the Pompidou overlooking the Stravinsky fountains - In an area with a row of restaurants. Taxi couldn't find the street! Very warm welcome and good recommendations. There is a prix fixe or a la crate. Note that if you reserve on la fourchette you can't sit outside! The goat cheese appetizer was delicious; oysters were tasty, just rather dry. Excellent main course similar to sheppard's pie, but way better. Duck confit was disappointing. Desserts looked excellent, but we were full. Great champagne/wine list. Enjoyed being there & would recommend as 3+

The service was fantastic and the staff really friendly. I had the confit duck and it was very disappointing & tasteless. We were also sat in the window behind smokers- not pleasant at all.

The restaurant is just few meters from Pompidou. The food was good but the cream brulè a little bit too thick. Averall, it has been a very nice dinner and I reccomand it to couples!

Beef cheek awesome. Beef tartare over mixed and too fine. Flavour good. Great service and friendly. Creme Brule very good. Exxcellent reco on wine. I think TA rating is too high given the experience. More like top 10% at most.

The French onion soup and foie gras were great, but the plats were mediocre. Many people sat outside for a great view, but I can't stand all the smoke! We were seated at a tiny table though the inside was only 25% full.

Sadly on our last day, we finally found the "holy grail" of a good restaurant with excellent proper cooking, choice and great ambiance, without breaking the bank! This is a really friendly place for just a drink or to enjoy the wonderful food. This chef knows what they're doing - vegetables too, not a pile of lettuce! Will be a must return on our next trip to Paris. Location also perfect for a wander in le Marais afterwards.

A really cozy restaurant right by Centre Pompidou. We tried the duck confit and the beef (but they brought lamb by mistake, it was good too however). The cheese plate was quite stale from sitting on the bar, but had a nice lay out. We had an excellent creme brullee for dessert. We had booked through the fork, and the staff did not seem very pleased to offer the discount, so that was a minus for the experience.

The restaurant is small. There were two large groups filling the dining area. We had good service,but two staff were busy taking care og the large groups. We had lamb which was very tasty and tender.

I had the beef cheek and it was so tender that's I could have cut it with my fork. My husband's salmon was also very nice. The service was very friendly. The discount made it even better value. We will return on our next trip.

A good meal in what can be a difficult area to find a nice restaurant. Traditional French cuisine done pretty well, in a nice ambiance. We spent around 32 euros per head on average for starters, main course and wine (and a few desserts/coffees)... the 30% reduction was applied without asking.
