excellent value set lunch

We came here twice on our one week trip. This is the 3rd year in a row we have eaten here proving how good it is. The staff are very friendly as well as the food being fabulous 👌 We had snails (escargots) Sole and Linguine Vongale (clams), followed by the most delicious Creme brulee. We will be back next year, we are looking forward too it already. Thanks Again ☺️

We ate here 4 times during our stay. We loved the food: the Dover sole is amazing. Excellent service even when very booked.

The interior was excellent with linen table cloths, upscale dishes, and good acoustics so a quiet conversation was possible. The food was excellent starting with the Tapenade. The wine prices were very fair for such a high end restaurant. We will return

The food is always very good, and the service is excellent. Our server was kind, and spoke English when he notice that our French was lacking. We just moved to France, and will continue to eat here.

The atmosphere would lead you to believe that a nice meal is sure to follow. Unfortunately that was not what happened. Our meal and that of the table next to us was really stale, poorly prepared and definitely the worst meal we had in Nice. I would advise against eating at this restaurant at all cost.

Service started very pleasant. Ordered the lamb chops which were very disappointing. Very little meat, mostly fat very thin so over cooked , not very tender, and not very tasty. When I pointed this out to our waiter, I was told , Yes they are small and not good, it's just the way they are, and tried to tell me all lamb chops are like that. RUBBISH. If you can't sell good quality dishes then don't serve them at all.

This place was just a lovely cafe where we enjoyed delicious food and excellent service.

The servers were rushing the patrons in and out. The quality of the food was not worth the price, the ham on the pizza was tough and the salmon was tasteless with mushy, overcooked zucchini. Servers dropped salt and pepper and oil from table to table which seemed to lack concern for cleanliness. We were put in the outside tent even with a reservation as the rain sounded down. This was not a satisfactory or enjoyable dining experience. It was disappointing in Nice, a definite poor experience.
Le Café de NiceHello and thank you for your message. To answer you, we do not rush any customers. Some arrive at 7 p.m. and leave at 11 p.m. We do not really understand the meaning of your remark. In addition, you had a reservation without any precision. So we place the reservations either inside or under the veranda depending on the number of reservations. If you wanted to be inside, you should have specified it or told us upon arrival. Regarding cleanliness, we change the tablecloths and napkins after each customer throughout the day. Maybe something fell on your table, we apologize, but that does not mean that the restaurant is dirty; these are two very different things. Regarding the food, it is your opinion. We take note of it, but you can see from all the other reviews that what you say does not at all reflect the opinion of other customers, but perhaps see you soon to bring you a better experience. happy with food, good kids options. service was very good and friendly staff. great options on menu. only comment is inside was a little brightly lite but was fine for family meal.

Excellent attentive and friendly service, especially advising on vegetarian and gluten free choices. Really great food and the trio of musicians added greatly to the evening. This was our srcond

+1We came to this restaurant twice on our 4 day trip because it was delicious, we had the snails and meats and cheeses for starters an the lemon sole, burger, fillet steak and the best Clam vongale in my opinion for mains, followed by there very tasy creme brulee. The service was also excellent very friendly and happy staff, we will return on our next trip.
