10/10A small personally run restaurant, in a quiet corner of the historic centre of the city. The service was excellent, including an introduction to the menu. The dishes were all first class of their type. I’d recommend it warmly.

8/10Fine little restaurant. Perfect for when you've 'eaten-yourself-out' of high-end fare at other restaurants, and just want a nice meal at a decent price. My wife and I each enjoyed a gin-tonic, fish plat, chicken plat, two deserts, two nice glasses of chablis, and a double espresso... 90 euro. The husband/wife team are friendly, speak some English (in addition to God-only-knows how many other languages). The location is about 1 block off of the main Palais de Duke place, in a quiet courtyard.

10/10Great little restaurant centrally located. Waitress was very nice and gave great explanations of the dishes in English. We dined at a Michelin star restaurant the night before and Le Carpe Diem was much better.

5.5/10Reservations are a must. Quality and portion sizes were just average but the price was expensive for what you received. Would not return unfortunately.

10/10A lovely restaurant offering delicious and seasonal meals. We had rabbit with root vegetables and mustard sauce that was excellent, good flavors and just the right portion. Desserts were a tart Tatin using apples poached in red wine - wonderful! And a lemon tartlette with meringue that was lovely. We would definitely return for another meal.

10/10We dined in this little restaurant last year (2021) and enjoyed it so much we returned this year. It is run by a husband and wife team, the husband being the chef, and the wife doing all the rest. The food is exceptional, as is the service and friendliness. We absolutely recommend Le Carpe Diem to those who enjoy good food in nice friendly surroundings.

9/10Lovely family run buisness, the food was good (especially the sauces were strait perfection) and most importantly the portions were big enough (not common in dijon). The service was very kind and the Wine card is also really good. Only con.: the decoration of the restaurant is horrible.

10/10Great location! We had a delicious lunch. The cuisses des grenoilles were cooked to perfection with herbs and garlic. The trout with vegetables and sweet potatoes puree was awesome. We had our dog with us and the restaurant owner and his wife were most welcoming. It was a hot day and the first thing they did was serve us with a carafe of water with ice and bowl of water for a dog without having to be asked. Amazing service. We'll be back again!

10/10The location is nice in the quiet place, just off the big square. Great food and very nice service indeed. Pets friendly and English speaking are the plus.
