You’ll be welcomed in like family here. Our party of 6 ate here twice and enjoyed every dish we ordered. Reasonable prices for food and wines, now add to that a Fork discount and you have the perfect evening!

First discovered this little gem in 2018. Had to return with friends in 2026. We had a wonderful night, a terrific menu with reasonable prices. Highly recommend. It’s a tiny spot, make a reservation.

I was visiting from Japan. I don't understand French, so I was using a translator to decide what to order. After choosing an appetizer and a drink, I was told to order a main course as well. I wanted to start eating quickly, but it took me about 20 minutes to decide everything. At the end, they just slammed the menu down as if to say, "Order dessert," but I declined. Poor value for money.

This has been my favourite restaurant (in the world) for the past 20 years and I return every time I visit Paris, order the same thing (duck breast 💛), and am greeted by the same lovely welcome. An unpretentious local restaurant where you’ll see both locals and tourist dining; with a delicious menu, wonderful wine, and really friendly service. A really lovely evening once again, thank you so much. If you’re in Paris, GO!

One of our favorite restaurants - anywhere. Have been many times over the last 15 or so years. It just feels and tastes right. Going again next week. Always take friends and relatives there when they come to Paris.

Very good traditional French food that was superbly prepared. Service was friendly and efficient and we were not rushed. The wines (a red and a white) were excellent and our Champagne pre dinner drink was very good. This is a friendly and attentive restaurant that truly cares about food preparation and quality. We come to Paris 3-4 times a year and will definitely return.

Nestled along one of Paris picturesque streets, Le Caveau de l'Isle offers not only amazing cuisine but an abundance that makes you feel like you’re experiencing Paris in a special way. Staff are attentive to your needs, the pacing of the food was excellent and the food absolutely delicious. It was an amazing experience!!

we return to this restaurant time after time (visiting from California). we love the owners, their love for their restaurant and,of course, their food and wine l. My favorite beef bourgignon, amazing duck, really, everything is great!!

Wonderful, charming restaurant on Isle st Louis. Excellent food, delightful and helpful staff. Ask to be seated in the vaulted cellar from the 17th century!! Classic French dishes. I love apple desserts and the apple tart was amazing!! This was the 3rd time I have eaten there!!!

For the third year in a row, we have come to Paris and this restaurant and we have had an absolutely wonderful dinner! The food is delicious and the owner is generous and fun. Definite must try. We will be back again next year god willing!

One will always remember the house cat...totally unobtrusive, dark grey, and blended with the ambiance. but to the main point... Location, service and food combined for excellent value. Make a reservation online.

We always stay on Ile St Louis when in Paris, but this is the first time we’ve been at this lovely small restaurant. Very family run, and seemingly catering, mostly to locals, which made for a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The food was very good and very Representative French country cooking. Highly recommend it!

Wonderful service and quiet ambiance with understated elegance and warmth. The food was generally of very high quality, prepared skillfully. The steak was not quite the quality of the rest of our wonderful meal. Highly recommended!
