The owner was absolutely lovely. He was so kind and attentive. I loved the ambiance and the food was wonderful especially the smoked salmon and food. Also location was perfect with just a ten minute walk to notre dameaking it the perfect Christmas Eve before midnight mass dinner.

Exactly what you've done. Despite your roughy attitude and comment, we confirmed that on this Christmas Diner, only the specific menu was available, as mentioned all over platforms. You were quite upset and expressed your dislike of all the dishes offered. You left without even saying good bye and stayed a very long time in front of our door, showing us your back. Doesn't matter, I wished all of you a merry Christmas. Hope you've find what you were looking for.

Absolutely special night. Our waiter went above and beyond to make Christmas, and my birthday, one to remember. Delicious good. More delicious company. Cannot recommend it enough.

The food is awesome. Great menu. Arguably the best onion soup ever! The service is outstanding. Antoine is a very welcoming host. Comfortable ambiance and never too noisy. We dine here every trip to Paris. One of our favorites.

Great little find for us we booked online but got fully booked very quick, if you want home cooked , home made food then definitely it’s worth a try, the place has a cute cellar extension that is nicely decorated. The food was great and good portion too. The staff were really nice and friendly

It is really a great dinner for my wife and me. The restaurant is extremely comfortable, and the staff are friendly. The harmonious atmosphere made us relaxed even though our language capability of French and English is poor. Hope we will be able to have the next chance to go to Paris and visit to Le Caveau de l'Isle again. Thank you very much.

A lovely, friendly restaurant with superb service set beautifully in the heart of Paris. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a perfect, relaxed night of great dining. Especially, our server Antoine was comical and pleasant. Wonderful is the perfect adjective for a place like this.

Great neighborhood resto with classic French food. We’ve eaten there twice in the past week . Cozy upstairs with 22 seats, interesting ‘cave’ downstairs for larger parties Warm and friendly hosts / chef. Highly recommend if you’re staying on the île St. Louis
