10/10We had great time at the restaurant. We loved their food and the good service. The only thing they made me feel disappointed was they did not receive my reservation from TheFork. I was lucky to have a table even without the book.

4/10They were out of half the menu by 7:15. Service was chaotic and loud. The server broke my wine glass whilenit wasnin my hand (bizaare accident) and never cleaned up the glass pieces. Salad was inedible.

10/10I love coming back to Le Caveau. The food is amazing and the staff is always very nice and accommodating. And the location is incredible. Especially in the summer, when it’s possible to sit outside Place Dauphine is very very charming.

10/10The venue and the staff were welcoming and happy. The menu was nicely rounded without being overwhelming. Their English was good if you need it to be. The food was excellent. You’ll enjoy yourself.

5.5/10Wilted frisée lettuce, cod on a bed of unpleasantly seasoned mashed cauliflower, and a stale commercial apple tart. Also a glass of undrinkable red Burgundy that tasted like a bad St. Joseph. The waitress plunked my used, salad dressing-coated fork and knife back on the bare table when she cleared my appetizer dishes, to be re-used on the main course. At some point she removed the remaining 1/3 bottle of mineral water from the table without asking if I planned to drink any more. Neither the food nor the service merited 60€. To be fair, the bread was fresh, warm, and extremely good, and there was no pressure to vacate the table. The room was pleasant looking and the ambient music was soft and inoffensive. I think a score of 4/10 would be most accurate, with most of the points coming from the ambience and the bread.

10/10What can I say... a stunning establishment. The atmosphere is quintessentially Parisian, far removed from the chaos of overcrowded neighborhoods where you find yourself queuing on the sidewalk. The staff is pleasant and bilingual, adding to the overall charm. I highly recommend their cod with buttery mashed potatoes, and make sure not to miss out on ordering their gratin dauphinois – it's a culinary masterpiece. A true gem that transports you to the heart of Paris without leaving your seat.

10/10I have been here many times, and I’m have never been disappointed. They just launched their new menu, and they have added a few delicious dishes. I had Sunday’s plat du jour, which is old-fashioned braised chicken, which was both generous in size and very delicious. And it’s always a pleasure to sit outside on Place Dauphine, where there is no traffic and always a good atmosphere.

6.5/10The location is lovely in an open air plaza although be careful if you are seated in the sun. It can get warm. We ordered the chefs special which was beef. It was ok. Not a great cut. The staff seemed hurried. Took them a while to take our drink order and never brought the bread we asked for. The people next to us looked like they had delicious food and were having a great experience so maybe it was a fluke.

10/10Great find! Located in a lovely neighborhood, we chose to sit outside to take advantage of the warm weather and welcoming setting. The menu featured a variety of choices, we chose the swordfish - beautiful presentation matching the delicious flavors of the food. We would gladly visit again!

5.5/10My scallops were below average, my confit the canard was a bit too dry with a nice taste. My husbands steak was 1 big peace of fat. My coffee with gourmandises was very disappointing too( she crème brûlée was nice but the 4 small cakes very completely dry. The staff was nice and place dauphine is very nice but we won’t come back to this restaurant.

2.5/10This was recommended to us by a frequent visitor to Paris, from someone who knows their way around Paris. It was disappointing at all levels. We shared a table of six with two strangers, no intimacy. Cold draft comes in if your table is too close to the door. Food was terrible. Had an Acme rib eye steak...thin cut, gritty, no flavor. Wife had fish with a dark, brown gravy more suited to meat than fish. No appetizer, no dessert. One server for the entire restaurant. Place was nearly empty, which prompted me to want to eat elsewhere.
