My best lebanese food experiece

The food was ok, nothing wow about it and the service was in such a hurry that felt as if they want us to eat fast and leave. Didn’t enjoy our evening.

However, we would like to clarify a few points: your reservation was scheduled for 9:30 PM and you left the restaurant at 11:45 PM, being the last guests to leave that evening. For this reason, we are a bit surprised by your impression of a “rushed” service, as it was never our intention to make you eat quickly or to shorten your evening. Amazing food. We did the non-traditional tasting menu, a “mix of authenticity and creativity.” The chef was fantastic and staff excellent. I’ve had a lot of Lebanese food, and this was the best and most creative once had. The avocado guacamole and the beef sausage dishes were particularly amazing. Well-done!

Very friendly and cosy atmosphere. Particularly enjoyed the small dishes and the dessert. Even the more expensive set menu is a bargain. It was a calm and happy evening with quality food and a kind owner.

Fantastic experience. Celebrated my girlfriend‘s birthday at Le cedre and she loves the Lebanese food in general but this we both loved the service and food at Le cedre😊

The chef, the staff, the incredibly lovely flavors. Highly recommend the chef’s menu and the chef! Only wish it was in NYC where we live.

They did an amazing job accommodating my milk allergy. Honestly it was the best meal of my Southern France trip. Extremely good food and wonderful service.

+1Spectacular flavours - great quality produce cooked perfectly. Service was warm and attentive without being too much in your face. I will definitely return when I’m back in Nice and will recommend to all my friends. Our party of two are so glad we made it to Le Cèdre!

I am half Lebanese half greek and I had the pleasure to have dinner at Le Cèdre. The owner visited our table several times. The food was excellent and the restaurant was very pretty inside. The service was excellent. I would definitely return there even though I was planning to have only French food while in France. It was worth making one exception.

Fabulous find for our first night in Nice. Warm welcome, attentive service, lovely ambiance and great value but most importantly of all delicious food!

Our first Lebanese meal, and food was excellent. We went for the gourmet menu, and each dish was fully explained and delightfully presented. Service perfect throughout. Thoroughly recommend, although unfortunately not able to return on a regular basis, as on holiday from Scotland!

We had the Chefs Choice menu and liked everything. The main dish- which was a chicken and rice entree was very good. Also give a shout out to the hummus. The atmosphere was very nice- quiet and cozy. The owner was friendly and really bent over backwards to explain things and help us with wine selection. He even showed us his art on the wall.

So good we had to make a second visit before going home. Had the gourmand menu this time and enjoyed that extra bit of subtlety in the flavours and textures. Will be on our list on our next visit to Nice.

The food was delicious and the owner added special flair and creativity to a number of the dishes. We’ve eaten in Lebanese restaurants around the world and this was definitely one of our top 3 favorite meals. Classic flavors and dishes, but with a creative twist and gorgeous plating. We had dinner with our two children and everyone was very kind and accommodating regarding the set menu options.

We were a little nervous at the set menus. However, it became quite obvious with the first dish that this was going to be an excellent meal and experience. The service was amazing. The food was exquisite. Refined Lebanese is how we described it. Just an awesome evening. Definitely would return!

The ambience, the food and the service was excellent. The vegetarian food was recommended by the owner of the restaurant and it was delicious and so well plated and presented. The portion sizes were perfect and the staff were attentive and considerate. We enjoyed our experience very much and highly recommend Le Cèdre to anyone looking to enjoy a delicious dinner.
