+1Spectacular flavours - great quality produce cooked perfectly. Service was warm and attentive without being too much in your face. I will definitely return when I’m back in Nice and will recommend to all my friends. Our party of two are so glad we made it to Le Cèdre!

I am half Lebanese half greek and I had the pleasure to have dinner at Le Cèdre. The owner visited our table several times. The food was excellent and the restaurant was very pretty inside. The service was excellent. I would definitely return there even though I was planning to have only French food while in France. It was worth making one exception.

10/10Our first Lebanese meal, and food was excellent. We went for the gourmet menu, and each dish was fully explained and delightfully presented. Service perfect throughout. Thoroughly recommend, although unfortunately not able to return on a regular basis, as on holiday from Scotland!

10/10We had the Chefs Choice menu and liked everything. The main dish- which was a chicken and rice entree was very good. Also give a shout out to the hummus. The atmosphere was very nice- quiet and cozy. The owner was friendly and really bent over backwards to explain things and help us with wine selection. He even showed us his art on the wall.

9.5/10The food was delicious and the owner added special flair and creativity to a number of the dishes. We’ve eaten in Lebanese restaurants around the world and this was definitely one of our top 3 favorite meals. Classic flavors and dishes, but with a creative twist and gorgeous plating. We had dinner with our two children and everyone was very kind and accommodating regarding the set menu options.

10/10We were a little nervous at the set menus. However, it became quite obvious with the first dish that this was going to be an excellent meal and experience. The service was amazing. The food was exquisite. Refined Lebanese is how we described it. Just an awesome evening. Definitely would return!

10/10The ambience, the food and the service was excellent. The vegetarian food was recommended by the owner of the restaurant and it was delicious and so well plated and presented. The portion sizes were perfect and the staff were attentive and considerate. We enjoyed our experience very much and highly recommend Le Cèdre to anyone looking to enjoy a delicious dinner.

9/10Booking online was a piece of cake, all done in a couple of minutes. Our host made us very welcome and we loved the very limited choice of menu. Find what folk like and do it exceptionally well. It worked for us, the food was excellent, we’ll judged portions so little was wasted and we were stuffed at the end. We enjoyed the wine and found the whole meal good value. My only small gripe was that the waitress was too keen to use her English. My wife speaks excellent French, mine isn’t bad, and we like to polish our language while we’re here, as regular visitors since we met 50 years ago. The waitress gave us scant opportunity to do so, and failed to pick up on our always replying in French. But I fully appreciate this is the smallest niggle….if you’re looking for a varied and interesting selection of mezze prepared a la maison you won’t be disappointed. It’s very close to the palais des expositions tram stop making it very convenient. We’ll be back.

9.5/10We really enjoyed our visit to Le Cedre. The food was delicious and a great change from the usual fare on offer in Nice. The staff were very attentive and gave us advice on what choices there were and the Lebanese wines. We would definitely recommend and will visit again when we are next in Nice.
