Sole and ribeye were delicious! The mashed potatoes were the best I’ve ever had. Service was professional and fast, much different than the mixed reviews I read. I would definitely recommend!

The wine was excellent. Everything after that, sub par. side dishes came after finished 1/2 our steak. If you want great steak, go to Florence. This steak was very disappointing. Of 350g, 120g was fat. Live and learn.

If you love steakhouses and will be in Dijon, you should visit Le Central. There are multiple choices for beef cuts at varying price points. I had the Charolais Ribeye and my husband has the dry aged ribeye from Scotland. I have to say that the Scottish ribeye was worth the extra 6 euros. I loved the peppercorn sauce as well. The staff was very accommodating of our two dogs and they were treated like celebrities there. The kitchen is open to the dining room and you can see the chef butchering each piece before it is cooked. Every detail is thought of from the warmed plates, the pace of service, and the wonderful options for sauces and sides.

Very nice place, lot’s of space. The food is amazing, especially the meats. They have a nice selection of wine, not only French, from all prices. Nice selection of desserts, with their famous “dessert tray”. A place to visit when you are in Dijon.

A great restaurant in the heart of Dijon. We were the first diners in as the restaurant opened but it quickly filled up with guests from the adjoining hotel and off the street so that by the time we had, finished, it was almost full. We chose from the menu which offered 3 courses for €36, great value. The food came promptly and every mouthful was delicious. I would recommend a visit.

Was nervous about booking a restaurant in an Ibis unseen but first impressions soon dispelled my fears. The place looks fantastic, the menu looks fantastic, the wine list IS fantastic. Service was a bit slow but they were busy and both the M’d and his assistant were well trained pros. The issue is the food. Entrees were just ok in the main, just ok. What looked like great raw material beef (on-display in a dry ager) was destroyed by the kitchen. Cote du boeuf was the better choice though flavourless even when then seasoned, the other steaks all served blue regardless of cuisance. Fatty cuts need more than that if only a little. This could have been achieved by sending them back for a bit more time on the grill but the toughness wouldn’t have changed so we didn't bother. We did bother to send back the sole served cold, which was then served warm. Vegetables and sides all either cold or stewed. Too much time on the pass maybe. We all passed on dessert. Our bill was $1100 euros for a table of 10. Management had all cleared off leaving a clearly disappointed table for a commis to handle, which she did well. We were offered a discount of €240. Maybe its that they cant handle a party of ten or maybe management need to be cruel to be kind in their kitchen or their considerable investment in what could easily be a brilliant experience will be wasted. Give them time. (I gave them some time to email me but they didn’t so now they have this review instead)

A large restaurant, everything looks clean and nice, the service is good, the food did not excite us, there are dishes that the waiter puts on a bit of a show with a flambe at the table, a gimmick, there are dessert and cheese carts that are brought to the table to choose, amusing, the steak was brought for approval before it went on the grill, I was not Ordering it again, and I was also recommended the expensive steak on the menu, I liked the chicken dish better. The steak came with a ridiculous garnish of a purple onion slice on the steak.

A really delicious meal in a great setting: Le Central was a fab surprise for us. I'd like to add that I have celiac's disease and must eat strictly gluten-free, and they not only had gluten-free bread, but were very knowledgable about their menu options. Highly recommend asking for a table with a view of the «open» kitchen as well. Merci beaucoup for a great experience!

I expected more after reading the god reviews. However it all feels very rushed. We ordered our mains and need a little more time to decide which bottle of wine we would like. In the end it was unfortunate that our mains came and in between no asked about our choice of wine. With our mains I asked my steak to be medium rare and it came medium, little towards well done, so I sent it back. As such the waiter had no option to ask about our choice of wine. Also I sent back one potion of Luke warm fries. The second steak was well prepared but by then my partner had almost finished his. We opted out for dessert. On the bill they dismissed the surplus for sauce but forgot to take off the Yuma discount. All in all we will not return here.

This is a very well designed, lovely space. Service is excellent. Limited but substantial wine list, we are use to American or South American beef, so while selection was good, it wasn't NY prime. It was perfectly cooked. Frittes were nice, veggies blah. Desserts were outstanding, and excellent cafe!

I wouldnt return .. I was disappointed by were we were seated .. no atmosphere at all .. asked for a cocktail off the menu and was told ‘no’ .. order fillet steak .. one arrived stone cold .. the other didn’t Look like fillet at all .. chips were both cold .. the 3rd steak was over cooked ! Sorry bit would not recommend this to anyone ..

Food was so so because the fish was very dry and very hard, so not recommend it; but the first dish was excellent: egg poché with asparagus and something else beautiful. Service was excellent as well, kind and helpful waiters who speak English. It is in a nice place with good decoration and ambience.
