Great discovery near Bastille! Will be back :-)

I had really nice chicken and they have stuff my picky sister enjoyed as well as the adults with me. The staff are lovely and when I forgot something very important to me ( that most people would have thrown away) they kept it until I returned. Written by Imogen (age 10)

We were a party of four and had a throughly delightful meal at Le Charonne. The steak au poivre and the Charonne burgers were really great. The bar has a lively, fun atmosphere and the bartender who served us was terrific. We are in Paris for another week and plan on returning for dinner.

It was our first time and we enjoyed ourselves. Everyone was nice and helpful since we don’t speak French. Wonderful restaurant. I’d be willing to go back.

Remarkably friendly servers who kindly described the whole menu to us. Shareables were delicious, and the fish was too. Enjoyable evening!

Friendly, helpful staff. Good quality food for the price. Delicious entree of charcuterie and cheese. The small serving was enough for dinner for both of us but as he had already ordered main courses we soldiered on. Both mains were good quality although the steak was a little overcooked. We were too full for pudding. Nonetheless, we left full, satisfied and had been made very welcome. A very good casual dinner option.

The lady was very welcoming. She explained the menu. She asked for our preferred table. She assisted us with our other needs. Always thankful and kind. The man was very attentive as well and always asked if we were okay. Food was delicious. Good portion. Arrives on time. Music is cool. Nice interior. Busy night for them but they were all smiles. It takes the experience to another level. Great dinner.

We picked this place for lunch. The food was so yummy. I got the fish of the day and we also ordered steak. Everything was full of flavor and delicious. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I am still learning French so they did speak English for me. I highly this place!!!

Unfortunately the menu and the quality of tapas has changed since we came here 2 years ago. Average food for quite ambitious price.

We pre-booked with The Fork just in case, as the reviews were very good and we didn't want to miss out - especially as it was just down the road from our hotel. On previous evenings we had wandered around looking for somewhere and ended up a Macdonald's on one occasion. The staff were very friendly and accommodating - the prices weren't bad either. The Le Charonne Burger was by far, the best I've had in memory and my 12 year old daughter was more than chuffed with her Chicken Popcorn and wedges. Well worth a visit - inside or out. We'll be back!

Really amazing service and good food. Good portion sizes, esp choc dessert and cheese board. Perhaps choice, especially vegetarian and definitely vegan choices were lacking a bit.
