We are staying in Beau-Rivage for two nights and had dinner at Chat- Botte. We had a wonderful dinner experience tonight. The atmosphere here is just perfect, staff were amazing, impeccable service and great hospitality. Of course, everyone speaks English very well. All the dishes were fantastic with stylish presentation and very delicate flavors. The champagne we ordered is something we have never seen the label before. The taste was smooth and enjoyable to us. Thank you so much. It was an enjoyable experience.

Despite our tardiness (we inexcusably got the time wrong and apologized !) we were able to get a table- and wow, what a table ! We have dined at many lovely places but this one got a spot on our top-of-the-list for multiple reasons : - The location and decor, accessible, timeless and harmonious beauty. - The service : attention to detail, timing, multiple languages were spoken, adapting to our guests. - The food : Amazing ! Explosion of tastes, a true voyage assembling local produce and adventurously daring combinations brought us all great satisfaction. Thank you, we will be back.

I enjoyed the vegetarian Menu as prepared by the Chef , the flavours were exquisite and I would say a must to enjoy great food . It is an expensive place but in my opinion definitely worth it !!

1. They struggled with finding my reservation name as I have a Korean name, better to book a simpler name if you have a unique name. However, other hotels never struggled so it was a bit weird. 2. The food was artistic, overall, the food was wonderful but one fish menu tasted a bit sour, and raw cooking. We told it honestly as they asked how it was, but it was just asking, not like a real service checkup. 3. Their service was nice and educated like any other hotels, but we had a problem with ‘water’. Since it was tap water, we didn’t expect to pay, but they charged 18chf. As we mentioned to one waiter, another waitress came and this is for filtered water charge, but she will change the check. Then another waitress came and she removed 9chf, but as it is service charge, we need to pay. They didn’t pour more water and what service they did with that tap water???? As I express unhappiness, a sommelier came and said it’s filtered and he understood we wanted not tap water but filtered one. Because of ‘tap water’, total four staffs came and made all the excuses. The luxury service should be flexible and considerable if there is a problem, NOT making four staffs to say excuses. That’s what I experienced from other hotels and what I got educated from hotel school. If it is bottle of water, I get it why I need to pay, we are in Switzerland and which hotel makes tap water to pay. With the rule of ordering at least one drink per guest, it would be more acceptable if one staff talked in that way, though I never see one hotel tried me to charge because of tap water in Switzerland. Plus, I ordered one champagne glass for the manner???????? As it was my fiance’s birthday, I didn’t want to complain that much, but in the end, the happiness was ruined, I really want them to think about the guest view. They come with high expectations and spend this restaurant for the best experience. I book our wedding venue in Beau rivage so I hope they improve the service and next tasting experience would be better than this.

We took the asparagus and Morilles menu. Food was tasty however very creamy which covered that lite taste of asparagus and morilles in all dishes. The service was good however the personal were not friendly and did not make us feel very confortable, none had a smile on their face.

If you book a table at 7pm , don’t come at 6.59pm cos the doors will be locked ! 7pm is when the restaurant opens, and it did ! So Swiss ???? Food great, service great

The best French food I have had between New York and Geneva. Service was phenomenal, attentive and polite. Had the signature menu and every course was one better than the next. Flavors were masterfully yet subtly presented and every bite was amazing. Will be on our bucket list every trip to Geneva.
