10/10The restaurant was nice and had low noise. The food was of excellent quality and originality. Wine recommendations complimented the food 100%. Surprisingly, the cost was reasonable for this gem of a place. Recommend the original onion soup and the duck! Bon apetit.

10/10After 3 weeks in Europe and multiple starred meals, Le Christine will stick out as our most surprising meal. The service was not only professional but very detailed in the info provided about the food. Mind you, not too detailed but delivered in an informal, fun way to get you ready for an incredible meal. The food was absolutely stunning. Multiple layers of complexity. The only food that rivaled this meal was Steireck in Vienna and Yannick Alleno’s operation. Le Christine is conveniently located in the left bank, not far from the Pont Neuf and Notre Dame. Get there soon!

9.5/10We enjoyed the chef’s dinner which was a surprise at every course and we enjoyed the evening immensely. The sommelier was so helpful with pairing a lovely bottle with our dinner and then suggesting two glasses of white wine with one of the dishes. It was a great experience!

6.5/10I have dined here many times in the past and was always very satisfied. I’ve made it a point to reserve every time i visit Paris. This time was very different. The service was excellent but food was average. Not bad but not great like in the past. The prices are very high so my expectations are set accordingly. I have no issue paying for an excellent meal but this time the price/value was not in line. Everyone in my party had a similar experience.

Today we had a most delicious repast!! We had the lunch « special » and boy was it special! It started out with a very interesting amuse bouche - very unexpected - our server showed us a small olive tree on our table - trompe l’oeil - and on two of the branches, there were « olives » that were completely edible olives that weren’t olives - they were a special bite with the most delicious tastes inside. The chef then sent out two beautiful « croquettes » that were light and flavorful - with potatoes inside along with a delectable cheese. We started with an amazing brioche that had bell peppers and cheese, topped by an artfully designed gelée. Then came the duck - an interesting take on barbecue - not a heavy, syrupy thing - but a spicy rendition of a lacquer. So nice! Served with a souffle of corn - so light!! (Remember - ducks eat corn!) We finished with a riff on Île Flottante and rice pudding - the chef showed his creative chops once again Wine was divine - a Bourgogne from Givry!

+5The food was very delicious. Many of the dishes were dark in appearance, so it would have been nice to have some brighter dishes. The seating atmosphere inside the restaurant was better than at the entrance, so I would have preferred to sit there. The staff explained the dishes to me properly, which was nice.

8/10We appreciated that the chef wanted to try some interesting ideas, however the execution was a bit odd (the olive tree) and repetitive (two cheese and pastry complimentary apps, ceramic vessels). The portions were very small for the price. The food was good but it just felt like they were trying too hard to be chic and did not focus on having a balanced menu with reasonable portion size. We are from NYC and have dined in many fine restaurants so we feel qualified to make this assessment. Everyone was pleasant, however one of the staff who waited on us did not speak English and had trouble communicating. Overall a good, not great experience.

4/10The food was terrible. We didn’t eat multiple courses but nothing was done to make it right. The dishes were very olive, sardine, anchovy and truffle heavy. If that’s your thing maybe you will enjoy it. Wine pours were short and it was hot as a sauna. For almost $300 we were expecting a wonderful meal but it was just a huge disappointment.

6.5/10We had been here twice before, and this was our worst experience. The table was crushed against the wall, and I actually could not move my left arm, and still sit in front of the table. The service was very slow. The reservation states that we only have the table for 2 hours, yet it took them 3 1/2 hours to complete our service of the 5 course tasting menu. The table to my right had to leave early, missing 2 dessert courses on their menu. The 5 courses were 2 apps, a main course, and 2 desserts. The main course consisted of one piece of duck. Just not enough. Major disappointment.

10/10We went to La Christine on a whim and we are SO so glad we did. First, what a wonderfully welcoming place. Everyone with whom we interacted was terrific: friendly, outgoing, and helpful. Second, the tasting menu was top-notch. We’ve dined in many 1,2, and 3 star restaurants over the years and La Christine was equal to or better than many of them. We both loved every course. Finally, the ambiance is great. It’s not slick; is comfortable in that hygge way. Don’t miss La Christine.

4/10We visited this restaurant 14 years ago and our meal was fantastic.So with very high expectations we booked it again. Upon entering it brought back some wonderful memories. Those feelings were taken away from us after we were seated.Upon reviewing the menu we saw that the menu had two tasting options and some ala carte offerings. When the waiter returned we asked him to explain the menu ,he then said it was a blind tasting menu . I asked what the difference was all he said was one had a lamb chop and the other option the main course was quail. We opted for the lamb and ordered a wine to accompany the main dish.Well the red was warm and he suggested that he put it in the refrigerator for a bit ,needless to say we did not keep the wine. We went with the pairing and that was a mistake. Of the 6 wines only one was French. The main course of lamb chops was so bad I could not finish the one chop that was on the plate.

3.5/10The service was not even close to being good enough for that type of restaurant. We didn’t have a plate for the bread before we had the appetizers. The waitress actually took the plate two times when I was still chewing. Two courses out of five was good. The rest we just tried, but didn’t finish. With one course the waitress replied when she took the plates with a lot of food left “the course is not for everyone- a lot of people don’t like it”. Not ok for a restaurant in a Michelin guide. This was our second visit - the first was excellent. This was not even decent at that price.
