This restaurant gives you a true French experience with it dating back to 1921. Very welcoming the owner doesn’t speak English but staff do and they are all very friendly

3/10We went with another couple for dinner at Le Cintra and it was so bad it was almost comical. When the four of us sat down at the table, they handed us one menu and told us they only had one menu in English for the entire restaurant so that’s how we started our dinner. We ordered our dinner and waited and waited and waited. We asked the waiter where the food was after about 30 minutes and he said “still cooking?” It finally arrived and it was adequate not great. We then waited for our pre-ordered desserts again a very long wait. When we asked the waiter where the desserts were he said he was sorry they were coming, but they never arrived so we canceled the dessert order and we’re just ready to leave. Would never go back to this restaurant. I don’t know if they were just having a bad night, but the service was terrible and the food was not very good.

10/10Excellent customer service. Gorgeous food. Extensive menu that permits everyone to find a meal that suits their taste (and dietary needs). The wooden decor is charming with a bit of whimsical. We highly recommend!

10/10Highly recommend this restaurant. The food was incredible, the service was superb and the atmosphere was intimate. My husband and I enjoyed our experience here and look forward to coming back. The beef dish was magnifique.

2/10We reserved with the Fork because they offered -50% . . . Once there, we check making sure the reservation was at the right name with the right system. When ask the bill, the manager didn’t honor the offer. We felt sorry for them. They need to steal to survive. An example of poor people doing a poor job. A shame for such a beatiful city. A shame for such otherwise good reputation

7/10Beautiful setting on a meticulously designed terrace. Meals are very well presented, truly a feast for the eyes. The gateau de St Jacques was delicious with a flavourful crayfish sauce, and the quenelle of brochet very good. However, the lobster was slightly uncooked, making it too gummy and the risotto needed a bit more salt —an issue that could have been easily fixed if a waiter had been more readily available on the terrace. As for the dessert, it was very generous and the cake aux pralines was a delight, but I would suggest less chantilly next time, to better appreciate the cake’s flavour. The waiter was very courteous, smiling and charming, but not enough present outside to attend the potential extra such as salt, pepper ….

5.5/10Menù in French only and so you have to imagine the dishes. We’ve taken an horrible beef fillet, gummy and hard to eat and for this reason totally left on the plate. Vegetables and potatoes without Condiments. Low quality of ingredients in general.Meat dishes not recommended. Kind and courteous waiters, Prices in the norm.

We had a fantastic dinner here. The staff does not speak English, however, the food is great and they were very accommodating to our broken French . The place is very elegant with classical music and a quiet atmosphere. We recommend it 100%

9/10Lovely teams, great atmosphere. The main courses were exquisite. However, the starters were mostly there (o ctopus salad) with details that made it not great: the herbs on top of the salad were a little brown, and the pate en croûte lacked crunchiness

10/10Located in the center of Lyon, this restaurant is a place where you need to stop : food, wine and welcome reflects the cook Lyon spirit. I will visit it again.

9.5/10Enjoyable and delicious early dinner with family. After a warm welcome we chose to eat in the comfortable and cosy saloon in the back. Service was a little slow towards the end of the meal as all tables were occupied between 7 and 8PM, so reserve in advance ! Menu has a selection of local Lyon and French dishes. A truffle risotto is available for vegetarians. All our different starters and mains were well prepared, good quality ingrediants, well presented and generous quantities ! Some small points for service as : All our drinks were served directly without the associated bottles + At one stage we needed more napkins due to delicious sauces, but our waiter didn't detect this. Make sure you are hungry enough first if you want to finish a full menu !

8/10Very nice restaurant with nice interior. Food thoughtfully prepared and presented. I had quenelle prepared in a very unique way, my wife had monkfish that was quite good. I hope to make it back in the spring or summer when it's outdoor seating is open.
