Very French and authentic restaurant with proper service. The food is generous and well presented. Not a tourist trap. With the Fork discount, this was an exceptionally good deal.

The service was fantastic. The staff were very professional, patient n customer orientate. Great ambience. Nice french decor. Having a pianist was an excellent touch. Lovely atmosphere. Food was great!

We had lunch at Cintra yesterday. The service was probably the best I've experienced in France, unfortunately I didn't ask our waiter his name but he was absolutely brilliant. The food is fantastic, and the servings were much larger than expected, so I would suggest going there when really hungry. The interior only added to the experience, I loved the whole 1920s vibe still somehow remaining present. In a nutshell - great choice.

The waiter was very helpful and most apologetic when one of our orders came out incorrectly. Very good, typical French comfort food, quite an enjoyable experience.

Sometimes you stumble on a real gem. Beautiful couple running the traditional restaurant, you could feel the history. Food and wine could only be described as exceptional. I had snails followed by Coq au Vin, both divine…

Charming old-timer. Senior couple was serving, very nice. The food however is very moderate.

This restaurant gives you a true French experience with it dating back to 1921. Very welcoming the owner doesn’t speak English but staff do and they are all very friendly

We went with another couple for dinner at Le Cintra and it was so bad it was almost comical. When the four of us sat down at the table, they handed us one menu and told us they only had one menu in English for the entire restaurant so that’s how we started our dinner. We ordered our dinner and waited and waited and waited. We asked the waiter where the food was after about 30 minutes and he said “still cooking?” It finally arrived and it was adequate not great. We then waited for our pre-ordered desserts again a very long wait. When we asked the waiter where the desserts were he said he was sorry they were coming, but they never arrived so we canceled the dessert order and we’re just ready to leave. Would never go back to this restaurant. I don’t know if they were just having a bad night, but the service was terrible and the food was not very good.

Excellent customer service. Gorgeous food. Extensive menu that permits everyone to find a meal that suits their taste (and dietary needs). The wooden decor is charming with a bit of whimsical. We highly recommend!

Highly recommend this restaurant. The food was incredible, the service was superb and the atmosphere was intimate. My husband and I enjoyed our experience here and look forward to coming back. The beef dish was magnifique.

We reserved with the Fork because they offered -50% . . . Once there, we check making sure the reservation was at the right name with the right system. When ask the bill, the manager didn’t honor the offer. We felt sorry for them. They need to steal to survive. An example of poor people doing a poor job. A shame for such a beatiful city. A shame for such otherwise good reputation

This place it is 10/10. Good food, amazing ambience, they had a piano player when we went, and the people it is amaizing, the server, the owner make you feel welcome.

Fabulous Lobster Risotto with attentive professional service.

Beautiful setting on a meticulously designed terrace. Meals are very well presented, truly a feast for the eyes. The gateau de St Jacques was delicious with a flavourful crayfish sauce, and the quenelle of brochet very good. However, the lobster was slightly uncooked, making it too gummy and the risotto needed a bit more salt —an issue that could have been easily fixed if a waiter had been more readily available on the terrace. As for the dessert, it was very generous and the cake aux pralines was a delight, but I would suggest less chantilly next time, to better appreciate the cake’s flavour. The waiter was very courteous, smiling and charming, but not enough present outside to attend the potential extra such as salt, pepper ….

It was simply amazing. Stunning place, friendly and professional staff. We paid half price thanks to The Fork. Definitely a very good deal.

Menù in French only and so you have to imagine the dishes. We’ve taken an horrible beef fillet, gummy and hard to eat and for this reason totally left on the plate. Vegetables and potatoes without Condiments. Low quality of ingredients in general.Meat dishes not recommended. Kind and courteous waiters, Prices in the norm.

A restaurant where time is suspended in a perfectly mastered retro atmosphere. Tasty, generous dishes that combine tradition and modernity in just the right balance. And charm, lots of charm, for this mythic Lyon venue.

We had a fantastic dinner here. The staff does not speak English, however, the food is great and they were very accommodating to our broken French . The place is very elegant with classical music and a quiet atmosphere. We recommend it 100%
