Great experience, hope to the back

I cannot say much about the food as I was not able to eat anything served to me and left the restaurant without finishing the meal. Several weeks ahead of my reservation, I shared my dietary restrictions excluding shellfish or pork from my menu. The first dish served was shrimp, which the waiter than argued was not shellfish. After removing the shrimp, it took 30 minutes to receive a new dish - which was ham. At this point I felt very uncomfortable and embarrassed as the servers were showing frustration, despite receiving guidelines in advance and not reaching out with any concerns in ability to accommodate. My husband and I opted to leave as the experience was poor and did not merit the high price.

Our experience could not have been any better. The food was fantastic and the service was too. When in Paris again, we’ll make it a point to visit Le Clarence again.

The ingredients are fresh and the presentation is artistic, which adds to the overall enjoyment of the meal. The taste is exceptional, and it's clear that the chefs put a lot of effort into creating each dish. ## Service Speed However, the service speed leaves much to be desired. The wait time for the food to arrive at our table was unusually long, which detracted from our dining experience. We understand that the kitchen may be busy, but a bit more efficiency in serving the customers would be appreciated. Overall, despite the slow service, the quality of the food makes this restaurant worth a visit. Just be prepared for a leisurely dining experience.

The room was beautiful, the food was creative and interesting, and the service was excellent. The total cost of the lunch was a little high, but our experience was worth it. It was our first time at the restaurant, but we shall return.

My wife and I agree that the whole experience was magnificent. There is nothing more elegant in the world than Le Clarence. From the decor, the attentive staff, the Somalia, the restaurant manager Charles to the creativity of the Chef; it was just one of my best dinning experiences of our lives.

Service was quite good. Food clearly not up to the hype and far below what one would expect from a two star experience. Wine pairings were good but overpriced.

Had lunch there last week with family. Elegant restaurant close to Grand Palais. Great food and friendly staff.

The setting is fantastic and the service was wonderful. The menu had its ups and downs; some very nice plates, others not so special.

They couldn't do the 4 course menu we had ordered because they didn't have the ingredients, so we received the 3 course menu, which was disappointing. Our courses also came out much slower than the table next to us -- the servers appeared confused at times, bringing the same dish to a neighboring table twice. However, overall the food was memorable and it was a positive experience.

Simply put … It was wonderful !! If you wish to have a classic French dinning experience in the city of love. “Paris” Then definitely put this restaurant on your bucket list . We had lunch. €€€€= ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ You get what you pay for . Perfect for a special occasion. I’ll definitely come back again !

Terrific service and incredibly flavorful dishes that left us full. It was our one year anniversary and they even brought out a candle with happy anniversary written in French on the plate. We were totally charmed and my husband said it was one of the top meals he’s had in his life.

One of the small number of fine restaurants to truly maintain 2* levels that existed before the pandemic. The food, service, and rooms were great before and remain great—and if you have been disappointed by what now passes for a 2* and 3* experience, I recommend Le Clarence which has maintained very high standards.

This was the ultimate experience in fine dining. Everything was perfect from the magnificent setting to the welcoming staff and of course to the food. We were 4 friends, and we all had a fabulous time. We chose the 5 sequences menu, and I was a little bit afraid of the food quantity but i was feeling fine at the end of the dinner. I am so glad I chose le Clarence for this celebratory dinner. A warm Thank You to Christophe Pele and his staff for treating us so well. Nos papilles gustatives s'en réjouissent encore. Nous nous sommes vraiment regales, dans un decor somptueux et servis par un staff d'une rare competence et gentillesse et sans aucune pretention. Une excellente façon de clore 2024 en beauté. A la fin du diner, nous avions une seule question en tete : pourquoi seulement 2 etoiles Michelin ?

Not worthy at all 1.Apparently there is a table with the nice garden view by the time we arrived, but we were lead to a table inside with almost no garden view and the guests behind us were given the window table. Kinda have a feeling that we were treated unfairly since all the guests have reservation plus we arrived first. 2.We do have expectation for a time-taking meal from a two-stars restaurant, but never expect that long to be honest. The lunch menu would take like 3 hours if u don’t tell the waiter that u are in rush. 3.Foodie is not that surprising from my perspective, the way of cooking seems to be very simple comparing to other 2-stars restaurant.(this one is highly subjective，depends on where you from)

The food and service was spectacular. I cannot imagine what a 3 star Michelin restaurant is like if Le Clarence is 2 stars.

Very great. In particular, the dishes specially arranged by the chef are the best in the world. Various breads are also good. This restaurant is worth going to from Japan. All the staff were kind and their explanations in English were helpful.
