We had a lovely lunch here after we checked out of our room. It was our last day in Lyon, and we are so happy that we enjoyed the hospitality of Globe & Cecil while we were in Lyon!

Very nice and good looking restaurant in the city centre. The plates are well prepared and served. The waiters are nice.

Expected much more of a French restaurant. Guess being part of a hotel I should have known the kitchen is less quality and interested to really cook an interesting meal. They constantly served bread…..to fill the stomach….Dessert cheese was one boring piece. Even on all glasses there was dust lying.. Sorry to say, not a succes for us.

Bonsoir, et bien quel commentaire triste à lire. Je suis très choqué par vos mots. Tout d abord nous n essayons pas de remplir le ventre puis le saint Felicien est un fromage très reconnu en France. Notre cuisine est de qualité avec des produits sains. Je ne comprends pas du tout, vos mots sont totalement déplacés !! Et merci de parler à travers un ordinateur alors que sur place vous n avez absolument rien dit.

Nice restaurant with a really cozy atmosphere. Staff is nice and cooking is quite yummy even if quantity is quite limited facing rates. Service was good but a bit long between dishes.

One of the best dinners for months. Great dishes with creativity but not too much. Good wine. Fish was perfect. And the chocolate fondue was a nice idea instead of so many awful desserts in other places.

The server didn’t take notes when we ordered, she then came back to ask the amount of fish and duck that we ordered after minutes. When the meals arrived, it turned out be 3 ducks, 2 beef and 1 fish instead of 2 for each one. So one of my friends had to wait for extra 15 minutes to get his meal. Moreover, when the fish dish arrived, it was over seasoned, too salty, and there were bones. We told the se rêver but the response we got was "this is fish!!" and she told us that we told the server the wrong number of the meals which is absolutely not true. We were very disappointed. We definitely didn’t have a great experience that we expected.

This was a lovely find. The restaurant is cozy and unpretentious. Service is great. The food was excellent with decently-sized portions, especially for its price.
