9.5/10We have been here a few times and the standard of food has been consistently high. On this occasion the service was excellent. The three courses were each excellent and the waitres asked if we wished for a break or to continue with the food. A good selection of wines at reasonable prices. A good evening.

5/10The food is excellent. First time we went there they forget that we had order dessert The second time, they forget that we ordered espresso and after 20 minutes we ask for the bill. Then they had put the espresso on the bill without serving us any. This restaurant need to change their staff in order not too continue damaging the chefs fantastic food

10/10This was our first visit to Le Comptoir and we will certainly be back. The food was beautiful both the starters and the main course. Beautifully presented and lovely flavours. Nice background music and a nice ambiance Damien and his staff were excellent 5 star to all concerned. Looking forward to our next visit

Most of the meal was good but my steak had a large amount of gristle in it that I couldn't cut, even with a sharp knife and my wife's tarte tatin came out so hot in such a short time, it must have been heated in a microwave. Expresso coffee ordered was too big and watery flavour.

9.5/10This is a really classy restaurant. The level of service is superb, and the food quality is outstanding. The cuisine is traditional French at its best, the presentation was superb. This was a great find that has only recently opened. My only negative comment would be the road noise, next time we visit, I think we would go nearer to the inside of the restaurant, but that is just a personal thing. All in all, superb, we will definitely be going back. Thanks to all the staff for making our visit so enjoyable.

8.5/10great food and quality choices of the french cuisine, strange they did not serve champagne ? and cava out of a benjamin ? the inside is quite somber and the terrace is very noisy due to the main road and traffic along;
