2/10I don’t even know what to say. I made a reservation two weeks in advance as part of my trip, and just last night you even sent me an email to confirm my attendance. Yet after driving all day to get there, I arrived to find the hotel front desk completely deserted and the restaurant looking like a ghost town. I have no idea what kind of “improvement” you could possibly offer after this. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

6.5/10We had a reservation here for 6 people. Overall the food was delicious! It was more the service and ambiance that were disappointing. The main dish for one of our group was completely forgotten and arrived 20 minutes later than everyone else's. Drinks were also forgotten. A large your group came in about halfway through our meal and were extremely loud, ruining the ambiance and experience for everyone else. While the food was good, I don't think I would return.

5/10We had a very odd experience. Limited menu and no outdoor seating despite near perfect weather. Some of the food was fantastic but there were serious issues with the service and the steak. We ordered a few starters to share (group of 4). Only some came out. Then we got our €95 steak. It was cooked fully well done. Like leather. We ordered medium rare. One of our party didn’t get their steak at all but was served a starter as her main. We asked the waiter what was going on but he said our steak was cooked as the chef normally does and that we got our whole order. We didn’t want to argue to let it go. We couldn’t eat our steak because it was so chewy and over cooked. Then after all our dishes were cleared away and we were considering desert the missing steak came out of the kitchen, a full 45 mins after our main meals were served. We refused it and there was a lot of confusion and back and forward between the waiter and the kitchen but no one even tried to talk to us. We speak French and English. It was very very disappointing and we really couldn’t believe what happened and initially blamed ourselves but there were too many mistakes and opportunities to fix it to ignore. We went for the advertised rotisserie but they didn’t have any on the menu and seemed short staffed. At no point did they even try to fix it but they might not have known because the waiter was that clueless. I dont understand how the chef could have through we would order a steak for desert though, even if the waiter was useless the chef should have questioned a rare steak order for desert and a super well done steak for 2 for main course. We really wanted to like it but it was the worst meal we had in France.

8.5/10The ambience was unbeatable - nice stylish decor overseeing the vines on the slopes. We sat inside. There weren’t a lot of people at the time of arrival but the staff were surely very busy. We have signaled numerous times but for one reason or another, only got the menu 30 minutes later. There was a mix-up in order, and there was clearly a staff who can speak better English came to try to manage but stated that we had wanted a change in order. It’s either the language or the demeanour which sounded like an accusation. We decided to just take whatever was prepared, Food arrived in an hour from our arrival.

10/10We had a lovely lunch with an amazing view over the vineyards of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The food was excellent and the service super fast and friendly. Would highly recommend to anybody

Strong recommendation due to few things (in order of appearance): - great location and view - friendly service - extensive knowledge of local wines and willingness to discuss and provide great matches with the food (Thanks to Paul) - well made food with consideration to details even on the ”day’s menu”

7/10We booked because we were staying at the hotel which is just perfect in all execution. But a little disappointed in the comptoir . It is Expensive for what it is. Food good but Service overwhelmed on a Saturday night. Wine pairing with food ok but had drunk the glass before starter had arrived. Could be better.
