We ate lunch and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The carrot appetizer looked deceptively simple, but the four (different) carrots sat on sauce that had a subtle coconut flavor. My wife’s appetizer combined a (? Watercress) salad with a sandwich made of two plank-like crackers—very tasty, with honey and walnut—between which were three portions of goat cheese with ham and fig. We both ordered seared eggplant, sliced thin (and served cold) accompanied by warm green couscous that was out of this world. The food made the meal. The service, while friendly, got very slow after the appetizers (a couple who arrived after we did, were finishing their dessert before we were served our main course.) Most absurd, 20 Euros of the 70 Euros bill was for 1.25 L of water!

This restaurant is a fabulous new restaurant adjacent to the Renne metro. Run by a very fun young couple — he is French, she is Moroccan — the place reflects their easy-going vibe. Vibrant fusions of both cultures, the food is full of spice in the best kind of way, delicious and light, and easily paired with an inventive wine list. As American travelers, we felt welcomed and like we were on an exotic adventure with our new best friends. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely dinner at Le Dima. Food was outstanding and unique. Service was attentive and helpful. I am gluten free and they made sure everything was safe for me to eat. The restaurant has only been open for 3 weeks! Go and check it out for yourself. My husband and I wish them great success. Merci!
