10/10Of the classic old restaurants we visited in Montparnasse, this was the most friendly - and most comfortable as the table we were given was well apart from others, had a feeling of privacy. Food and presentation excellent, but at these prices one would be annoyed if it weren't!

6.5/10Rushed through our entire meal, barely received our aperitif when the entrees came. Waiter pulled our plates away as I was still eating! We were barely there an hour- gorgeous restaurant, food was fine, unfortunately bc of service we won’t be back.

My husband booked restaurant after looking up online. We were very impressed! The decoration was lovely and the service was second to none. The food they recommended was amazing, tasty and good looking and generous portion which is rare in Paris. A must go place for foodies.

8/10Valentines dinner at le Dome, small table for two squeezed between other couples…not ideal for private conversations. Oysters were very good but langoustines were not very fresh. Headwaiter gave us a few extra langoustines to compensate. Main dish was cod with mash, delicious and copious. Millefeuille Napoliane was rich and very generous and should be shared. Nice evening but lack of privacy for Valentine’s Day.

7.5/10The ambiance is wonderful, and the service impeccable. However, I have been going to this place every time I am in Paris and having the same meal.... sole meuniere, as it is a specialty and I cannot get it where I live. In any case, they did not serve the usual sole (dover sole), but lemon sole.... This is more of a flounder than a sole. I did not bring it up, as I had guests, I am knowledgeable enough not be fooled. They did not advertise that it would be diver sole, but this is what they used to serve. They did not advertise that it would be lemon sole either.

4/10We have been to Le Dôme many times over 30 years. This time was different. It is now a tourist trap with high prices and mediocre cuisine. The langoustines for 40 euros were mushy and bland, possibly frozen though they denied it. The “special”Sole meunière for two at 150 euros was just average, nothing special. Service was obsequious at first but declined rapidly once things got busier. We had to pour most of the bottle of wine ourselves. Like so many venues Le Dôme is just a faded warhorse. Sadly, we won’t be going back.

7.5/10Very friendly service at the start, Nice ambiance, fancy and quiet. Then they sat us in a booth with another couple, with 30 centimeters between tables. The other couple, middle aged, repeatedly spike on their phones, talk loudly and were the focus of our dinner. The food arrived quickly. Good oysters, nice wine, the main courses very excellent (the sole and the scallops), and the dessert (it took about a half hour for the waiter to return and take our dessert order) was delicious! A delicious if less than excellent experience, questionable if worth 195€!

9.5/10Le Dôme is a classic restaurant in the Montparnasse neighborhood of Paris. The service was excellent. Food was delicious. Enjoyed a tomato and crab appetizer with my wife. We also shared our entrees. We had the sole meuniere and tagliolini pasta with lobster. For dessert we had the Napoléon millefeullie. Highly recommend a visit.

8/10If you are paying that kind of money the waiters should be polite. We had a really nasty and inefficient one. Ignored us, was rude at every turn and then brought the wrong bill at the end so we had to settle up twice. The restaurant is smart and other waiters seemed to be pleasant but I do not recommend this place. My advice is Don’t put up with bad service when you are paying through the nose.
