10/10Classic seafood brasserie, great rockfish soup followed by blue lobster tagliolini, noodles al denté with a kind of lobster bisque ragu. My wife had the sole and was in heaven. Ended with Berthillon ice cream. Good professional service on a busy Thursday night

10/10First of all the ambience of the restaurant was perfect. Our waiter was excellent. He was helpful making decisions for our meal and he was kind and friendly. The food could not have been any more delicious. The salmon amuse bouche started the meal on a perfect note. We had perfectly prepared mushrooms as an appetizer. The scallops and lobster pasta were both excellent. Dessert was light, crispy and flavorful. We could not have been happier.

10/10We first visited Le Dome 35 years ago. We have returned from the USA over the years to Paris and always made a priority to visit Le Dome. Never disappointed.

9/10They treated us like royalty. We appreciated the service. It was pouring rain & we came in with dripping raincoats & umbrellas. They took our coats and immediately made us feel welcome.

6/10I guess we had high expectations- but to be honest we could have been invisible to the service people. Good was excellent t but expensive that we knew. But not real atmosphere- no one asked if our food was good a bad - nothing. We will never go back. We have been going to Paris for 20 years and this was not our best dinning experience

10/10This is a very special restaurant, with tremendous cultural history. The front facade and interior dining room feel like an elegant step back into the early 20th century. Once inside, you will be greeted by a very welcoming staff. And of course the menu never disappoints. I try to schedule a lunch or dinner at le Dome every time I visit Paris.

10/10Everything was delightful. The restaurant is charming, beautiful interior, the food is absolutely superb. Our waiter was friendly and helpful with suggestions. We will certainly return on our next visit.

7/10Food was great. Service was great for the first 30 mins and then they pretty much ignored us for the next hour. At the end of the meal I told the server the service was poor - he at first ignored the feedback - when I repeated it he threw his younger female co-worker under the bus - "she's new here". Didn't offer anything beyond a half hearted apology and it felt like we were being shooed out. Left very disappointed given it's not a cheap spot.

10/10A very smart but relaxed restaurant serving beautifully prepared seafood. My wife and I both enjoyed the Tagliatelle pasta with succulent blue lobster and a shellfish sauce. I also thoroughly enjoyed Pan seared summer cep mushrooms with parsley and garlic.

10/10It started with a warm, genuine welcome from the maître d’ and just got better from there. Love the authentic atmosphere, that was matched by the great service and even better food. Ordered the set meal that was really reasonable. The stuffed tomato, with crab and gazpacho, and sole meunière were absolutely excellent .

6/10The place is gorgeous. The host and the waiter were rude and condescending! I don’t speak French, but always try to ask in French “do you speak English “ to try and be polite and the host said back to me “no do you” no need for the attitude. They did nothing to make our dinner enjoyable almost seemed annoyed we were even there. Didn’t explain how to enjoy the soup with the croutons and sauce just dropped it in the table, didn’t tell us what the $130.00 sole came with. I’ve been in the wine /restaurant business for for 35 years I don’t have time to eat at restaurants that try to intimate or not make you feel comfortable. Life’s too short and they need to check themselves. Great ambience too bad the staff is lacking.

10/10+2It's hard to explain how wonderful this restaurant is. The staff is professional, yet personable. They make you feel at home. As I was leaving the maitre d approached me, shook my hand and thanked me for dining. It felt like a sincere gesture. This is not typical. I started off with a coup de champagne (Taittinger, my favorite). They brought me a bowl of complimentary bulots (nice touch), and an amuse bouche that was like a tuna mousse. The waiter recommended a certain type of oyster (out of this world). I added some king prawns. So delicious with the mayonnaise, that for some reason tonight had a bit of mustard seed in it. Clever and delicious. I went big with the whole homard bleu. With risotto. I feared a giant platter of rice with the lobster on top, but no they are too smart and careful to do that to you. You get a side dish of it. Lobster cooked to perfection. Just done, still tender. A glass of Sancere and a Martinique rhum digestif. Perfection!

10/10I just love this place. If there was ever a time to use and abuse the expression "timeless classic" it's there. It's beautiful, unpretentious, food is great. It's a true Parisian cocoon and the essence of a real French brasserie. Also, some of the waiters have been there forever which tells you about how they run it.

10/10Exquisite. What more can I say? Everything about this establishment reeks of class, style and panache. The staff is very professional but also incredibly personable. I had a glass of champagne, six oysters, foie gras, filet of sole and a cognac. What's not to love? Iconic. I felt as though I were still among the 1920s expats. Go here! I'm going back at least one more time in my four day stay.

5/10Food came without sauce and had to flag a waiter to get it while my fish sat. The crème brûlée had no crème or anything brûlée’d, waiter told me it’s “like a deconstructed version” which it wasn’t and it was borderline awful to boot for 19 euro. He swapped it for another desert. Waiter hassled me for a tip too. Overall pretty poor experience.

6/10Got my order incorrect, twice. Ordered a red wine, was served white. Ordered steak, was served veal. Waiter was very apologetic but left me waiting to eat while my party finished their dinner. Definitely not the experience I was expecting for a 150+ Euro evening.
