When we first entered the restaurant, we were met with a warm hospitality and friendly atmosphere. The staff was welcoming and genuine service minded. The food was excellent and the atmosphere, romantic. It’s a pity I don’t live in Paris or I would come back often to this wonderful place. Thank you.

Its been over 10 years since i was at Le Fumoir but not disappointed! lovely atmosphere, good service (just a bit chilly sometimes with the main door open all the time) and the food was really excellent - carpaccio scallops and guinea fowl with delicious purée and smoked red beets... we had no room for dessert. Will be returning soon

We came to Le Fumoir for dinner on the recommendation of a Parisian friend and we were not disappointed! The food is beautiful and an authentic french dining experience. The service was excellent as well, with adept waiting staff who are obviously well trained. The Menu allows for you to pick and choose if you want either 2 or 3 courses (€40 or €44), with a nice mix of both meat and fish options. The wine and cocktail list is quite large and offers good regional wine selections. From the menu we chose 2 entrees (marinated herrings on spiced bread and sea bream ceviche in apple & milk dressing with hazelnuts) and 2 main courses (oven roasted pork loin with apple cider sauce and Guinea fowl with smoked red beets and hot red wine dressing). Each dish was a delicious, combining subtle and interesting flavour combinations. Our only regret is that as all the serves were quite decent sized portions, we unfortunately could not fit in dessert! This is a seriously good Parisian restaurant that is highly recommended.

Something was lost today. We arrived on time and were seated quickly. The appetizer (a white asparagus salad) was really good. Someone dropped the ball at that point. Our main course didn’t arrive for nearly 30 minutes. The couple next to us, who arrived after we did, were served first. Then my main, a Navarin (French lamb stew) was really ho-hum, and featured meat with fat and gristle, and a sauce which didn’t have much taste. It just wasn’t very good, and nothing like what I’m used to with that dish. It was really off. Le Fumoir is normally very good. I’ve been going there for ten years. They just somehow lost it today, and I have every hope that when I go next things will be back to normal.

This is one of my favorites - and after 2 years of Covid they are are least as good as before. Excellent service, have to come back to try a few more things on the menu of the moment as choosing tonight’s dishes was hard - too many options ;)!! The Oysters and the Chicken risotto were just right, and our waiter’s kind and attentive service made this an evening to remember - we will, for all the right reasons :)!!

The restaurant has the right Paris vibe to let you feel as French as it gets! The food is a real gastronomical experience, and it is something worth paying the bill. Excellent restaurant!

For the location prices reasonable. Just beside a metro and a stones throw from the Louvre. Ask for a table in the bibliothque if you want to be able to chat with each other.The bigger room is lively and seems to be very popular. I would love to return.

From the beginning till end everything was rushed and not welcoming. Too much staffs and so service was all over the place. Our waiter did not take the time to listen to our order and got the serving order wrong as they served my starter with my girlfriend’s main. Then serving the mains they only served mine and forgot my girlfriend’s. It wasn’t that busy so I did not understand the rush. The flavours here were just underwhelming. Nothing special, only the sauce for the beef dish stuck out. Other than that it was a pricy ordeal that did not live up to the expectations. The view towards the Louvre was boring to say the least. Not their fault but that is how it was old to us by a friend. Fine dining experience is not supposed to be rushed but enjoyed from all sides. Did not get that impression at any point. I liked the decor but all in all I left this place feeling like had I been boring and gone to our favs (Mamma Primi or Augustin) again. But hey you live and you learn.

It’s been like 5 years that we come here for a dinner during our summer trip to Paris. We loved this place for both food and service but this time they disappoint us a lot!! The food was great as always but the service was non-existence... not good le fumoir, hope you’ll be progressed!!!!

I love coming here from time to time (since 3 years) and I have recommended almost all my friends and visitors to come visit, because of its excellent service, classy decor, romantic ambiance and more importantly, the beautiful presentation of delicious dishes which change every season - all the more reason to come back regularly :) Never disappointed. Loved the cocktails too!

I ate at Le Fumoir twice over the past week—once with a large group of colleagues for dinner and once alone for a late lunch. The food was excellent both times—the strawberry dessert was to die for! The service was also very friendly if not super fast, but the restaurant was quite busy both times. I’d definitely recommend it.

Le Fumoir deserves the many good reviews it receives. As we did last summer, we had a wonderful meal on June 3 this year. The food was excellent, and our server, who did not speak English, was pleasant and accommodating and professional. Our only complaint is that the older gentleman who seated us was unfriendly and made no effort to accommodate us on a special evening (my wife’s birthday). Last year we were treated much better and were given a special table in the back room. Nevertheless, his lack of hospitality did not ruin our evening. The rest of the staff were very helpful and pleasant, and th food was delicious. I had duck breast, which was excellent, and my wife had mackerel, which was delicate and delicious. We will return!

Always a must-make stop as we pass through our favourite place in Europe (c’est Paris!!). The atmosphere is low-key & yet always buzzing with good vibes. You simply have to stop by :) Keep your eyes open for set-menu options that are often categorized at dinner as Prestige with a very reasonable price-tag attached!!

Food was good but don’t understand why we were put in the backroom when we walked though a empty front restaurant. Felt the manager has a bad attitude too.
