We had dinner at Le Galion on a very hot evening in late July. All the tables inside the restaurant were empty and only the external ones were set and ready for customers. I honestly don't remember if there was a problem with the air conditioning system inside or not, but, in any case, we were not offered the indoor alternative. Anyway, the view from the terrace, facing the port of Menton Garavan, is not particularly intriguing, but it is still relaxing, since in the evening, fortunately, there is little movement of people and vehicles. We were warmly received by the manager, an elegant bilingual lady who introduced us to the menu and kicked off our culinary and sensory journey based on excellent, super fresh fish and delicious, ingeniously conceived desserts. The restaurant's level of excellence is also well represented by its wine list... we ate savouring a delicious Chablis Grand Régnard. An experience to be repeated very soon!

Staff’s attitude is bad. They avoid eye contact with customers which is really strange. Food was below average. Escargot was lacking flavour and duck seemed to be old and tough regardless of of how it was cooked.

Staff were extremely attentive, polite and very welcoming. Food was absolutely fabulous, beautifully presented and delicious. I would highly recommend to anyone that enjoys good food, good wine and overall a very pleasant evening.

We enjoyed our visit to Le Galion. The ambience was enjoyable with the tables pleasantly set apart so there was a good good hum of conversation but never intrusive. The serving staff were all friendly and attentive. Any question was quickly answered. The food was excellent for all three courses. The wine was delicious.
